The question becomes: How many attributes need to be changed and how different do they need to be to break the copyright? I don't have the answer.
There is no easy answer to this. I commented in another thread, here:

at that time it seemed to be not the right moment for such thoughts, or the wrong crowd, but there is some discussion as to your question.. which, well.. creates more questions..
As Cienna pointed out, due to the TOS all of this IS sort of invalid.. but I assume that users will not fall for the bait and switch. If they do fall for it, well.. STOP IT YOU BONEHEADS! If they do NOT stop, well the economy will be one heck of a bubble, lots of cash/investment, no value. Unless, what everyone is counting on is making gains on the bubble and getting out before the burst. bubble bubble.. toil and trouble.
Anyhow, my opinion is that it is too complicated to figure out what we need before we really need it; particularly with 90,000 cooks (users) in the kitchen. I think the only way to continue progressing as a 'society' while giving people a voice is to create a body/judge/jurry/arbitrator(s) that will solve disputes / judge / punish on a case-by-case basis, therby making precedents and THEN putting those precedents into regulations and rules.
