Ok, I *suppose* the reason this happens is to avoid the afk parties that dwell rakers would loooooooove to have made easier. So I propose the following:

1. Remove inactivity logouts.
2. Once someone has passed the 30 minutes (i think) inactivity limit, he/she stops recording dwell until return. Maybe set it so they have to return *and* be active for maybe a full consecutive minute, so that it's not just moving the mouse a bit what will get you back into production.

Comments?

add them up and we have

2The 2difference 2between 2me 2and 2you = 0

2(The difference between me and you) = 0

The difference between me and you = 0/2

The difference between me and you = 0

I never thought we were so similar

List of Cool Things I've done first... I think
  1. Put on sale a key mod that makes SL more like an FPS
  2. Made my own custom attachment points - looking for a good use
  3. Found "secret" login screen.
  4. Created a way to call Java methods from LSL --> Thread

Surprise -- inactivity logouts are currently enabled, although it may have been unintended. I left my computer for an hour and came back and while I had been (AWAY), I wasn't logged off. But looks like this'll be put back in, in 1.6.5. :)

That's the feature-iest bug I've ever experienced. ;)

We must have an idle timeout. Otherwise we'll have idle people eatting up precious bandwidth and CPU time on the sims.

Hmmm, and potentially bloating log in counts and causing problems with logging in / teleporting?

Hmmm...

I will assume you're joking, but will answer anyway:

SL takes huge amounts of bandwidth, and the bandwidth SL has available is actually limited. People who are not 'active' still take up a large amount of bandwidth.

So...

Get off the doggon system when you're not using it, ye selfish little buggers!

Ah... I feel better! :D
