How about allowing the creators to see the permissions an object has that they have created?
I'm always so paranoid that I have to go into the properties of my items just to make sure they're set correctly before I put them up for sale, and it gets tedious at times.
Maybe have the creator's object display just how it would when given to someone else, except on the creator's screen, show the permissions in another color.
So for example, if I made an object with no modify/copy/no transfer, then in MY inventory it would show "object (no modify) (no transfer)" except the (no modify) and (no transfer) would be in a different color, letting me know that I'm the creator, not the receiver of that object.

In the meantime... haveya used DEBUG PERMISSIONS under the DEBUG menu? It's quite useful, but not very wellknown about. I did a search and Kelly Linden posted what it all means.

Yeah, I know about that, but that's just little text at the bottom of the build window, and sometimes a little confusing, like looking at the wrong set of permissions.
