Ok time to vent. Go get your popcorn and sit back and know what kind of Company Linden Labs is. I have been in SL for many yrs as a Paid acct. I recently fell on hard times like most of us have. I let my paid acct fall to the side (Yes I know my fault). Well I come back after spending the money i needed to and guess what? I am a noobie. Yess my entire inventory is gone. 5 businesses and so much more all gone. It is amazing on how Linden labs can not make sure you get your inventory. Before you go defending them I am also in World of Warcraft and other MMoRPG's. and no matter how long you are away you still have everything. Well Like a good little SL resident I filed a "Support Ticket"  uses that term with laughter). It is now going on 30+ hours and guess what? Ready wait for it..... NO ONE HAS EVEN LOOKED AT IT! Wow amazing on how a company lets its customers go 30+ hours with out even saying "Thanks for your ticket we are backed up atm and will get to it" No not Linden Labs. When you call the main business number you get a rude lady who answers and won't help you, then she hangs up on you. I guess her soap opera was on. I ask the mentor group for help and god Bless them all cause they all came hitting me with the answers (Guys enough with the clear the cache line please.) But guess what again... No lindens answered the call. So i started sending each linden a message and only 2 have gotten back to me with the go to the web page and do the cha cha and wait. Well Linden Labs I want you to know that in over 20 yrs of being in business I have never seen a company who will treat there customers with such disrespect, discuss, and trash as you do us. Bring back the way it use to be with the live in game help. Oh i Forgot that means you all may have to answer a message sent to you. In closing (man if you made it this far God Bless ya) Linden Labs I am going to be the biggest pain in your behind til i get what you stole from me back. BANNOCK OGG

I too have been helping Bannock with this issue and read the same thing the mentors have told him.Bannock's problem could be ours one day and I think its B.S. Yes I'm his partner but it worries me that one day I may not have my inventory after one of stints away.And ladies you know how much we spend on clothes and such now imagine owning a store and you cant get to your things.I ask this where are the Lindens who are suppose to help with issues? How long does it take to answer a ticket for issues in my case last night 13 hours in Bannock's case its been 30+ hours and still nothing. When will he get help with this in a week? In a month? Never?

30 hours? Lightweight. You can wait 7 to 10 DAYS before you get a response to your ticket.
This thing with your inventory...as I understand it, you let your Premium account lapse. Now, this is a real injustice...but while you can have a free Basic account dang near forever, even if you don't log in for a year or two or three, if you don't keep your Premium account paid, guess what happens? Do they downgrade you to Basic, maybe take your mainland away? Noooo...your account is DELETED.
Actually, it sounds like you were lucky. Your account wasn't totally erased. At least you could still log in.
If that's the case, and you did not get in by making a NEW account, then I think it is possible for LL to recover your inventory. Try calling Support again, and talk to a different person.

I have never had any problem getting immediate support from Linden labs. Whether using the toll free number or using live chat. They have never failed to take care of me instantly. Besides SL, I don't know of any other business that I can always reach instantly via live chat and or toll free number 24/7. For the paltry sum LL charges for premium membership it's my humble opinion that the customer service is phenomenal and I would readily give them 3 stars.  I can't get assistance from the local police or fire department as quickly as I can get assistance from LL lol. That being said, it's important to note that you agreed to the terms that said your account could be deleted if you did not pay your fees. You then allowed your fees to become delinquent. This would be akin to making an agreement with your credit card company stating that your interest rates will increase if you are late on payments, then allowing your self to be late on payments while subsequently ranting about the increased interest rates that you incurred as a result of your own actions even though you knew the consequences beforehand. It may be that a deleted account and or lost inventory is not something that just any ole customer service person can push a button and fix. It may need the attention of a specialized Linden capable of dealing with the problem. Because of the unique nature of your problem it is not outrageous to think that 30 hours has elapsed without a resolution. Try to not get too worked up about this and give it some more time and see what happens. Some would say, the "squeaky wheel gets oiled first." I prefer to say, "you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar." To each his own.  I am not trying to play down the severity of your problem, nor am I trying to play down the sense of urgency you apparently feel. I am just trying to put some balance to your comments in the hopes that you will be able to wind down a bit and not let this get the best of you. Relax, and give this some more time and I just bet you will get a favorable result when all is said and done. And on a side note, does this post belong in this topic? Resident run websites?

Free account and 40,000 pieces of inventory. Offline for 150 days- Still have 40,000pieces of inventory
Paid account for 50 months and 10,000 pieces of inventory. Offline for 65 days and account unpaid - inventory purposely purged by Linden Lab.
What is wrong with this picture?

Still Missing

All Bannock's stuff is still missing we built our stores and replaced some of it but still many items are one of a kind and we wont get back.Its sad when you have to hope that things will get returned but you honestly dont think its going to be back. I hope other paid accts. who come back after a stint away does not have to be put through this like Bannock is.
