Land prices have fallen in the past two weeks due to a large Linden release of land. I've heard a lot of complaints from small and large "investors" who had a lot of land in inventory.

The article is of interest because it predicts exactly this scenario, and did so almost a year ago.

The whole bubble was an artificial shortage created by the backlog of PI orders to beat the price increase.

I've been thinking about setting up a real shop space for my products, but settled for now on using my beach property and building the shop in the sky because of this. Land is just getting pushed back to more sane levels now that LL can push out enough mainland servers.
