ATTENTION ALL YE EVIL, UPSET, AND OTHERWISE IRRITABLE FORUM MEMBERS! Tired of having your posts moved? Tired of having your threads locked? Tired of being reminded about the TOS with every word you say? Then learn to either follow the rules, or take your attitude here!  This site is tied directly to SL, making sure that users must create accounts linked to thier avatar name. You'll know EXACTLY who you're dealing with! In addition, there are no moderators of any kind. No forum but 'main', and NOBODY will lock your thread! Now! You have what you all said you wanted. Use it. Don't use it. I frankly don't give a darn. And to the resmods: Feel free to join up too. I can definatly tell you the place won't be neutral ground, but you'll definitly have the option to speak your mind. Just be prepaired for others to do the same. Oh, and mods? I placed this in general beacuse it deals with all the forums. If you find you need it moved based on it's subject matter, please do what you think best.  |

it's not really a fan site, more of a notice.. BUT.. i'm leaving it here in general as the existance of SLDrama is a commentary in and of itself about the whole of the SL forums proper. i may join at some time, but for now.. i'll just meander around the official forums. but, best wishes with the site.. it should be a hum-dinger!

In what alternate universe is this not a third party site notice? It is a classified ad. You have got to be freaking kidding me. It is a giant link to a brand new site that he is trying drive traffic to. Great. We have some resmods moving around things like a game of ping pong, and now another that is just blatantly ignoring the fact that this is an ad  Whee.

This is left here when a Linden decided herself that a poll about resmods for the gneral forumgoers should be moved to the resmod forum..where most forumgoers don't go..and therefore any results would be inacurate from that point on?
I'm reporting this one to be moved. This is another classic example of the resmod system failing.

I've seen what happens on unmoderated boards. Definately not a good thing. You're asking for more trouble than it's worth. People think it's bad here now. They ain't seen nothing yet. About the only things I can see that will be prevented are clones and clone wars. You have to register with your SL name, but put a "-" instead of a space in between your name like:

That forum is fully functional. I purchased the domain, setup the space on my dedicated server, loaded the postnuke and forums, and built all the scripting to tie it into SL for security. Since yesterday evening. Sleep is for mere mortals, you know! So please! Enjoy it! To clarify: unallowed "Advertising" here relates mostly to "real-world" things which have no connection to Second Life. This is alright. I have reopened this thread for discussion. I have also moved it, appropriately, to Fansites. And, as I often do with sites about SL, I plan to visit when I can. |
