That was quick and easy! You don't need to include me in the raffle though; please increase the odds for others!

Not sure what nation you are working out of, however....
If this is for academic research (as you imply by calling yourself an MA student), you are not keeping in line with USA federal law for doing research with human subjects. You make no mention of how an avatar's privacy is going to be protected, both in terms of their name AND in terms of the IP address that submits the questionnaire.
You also need to identify yourself much more thoroughly and you need to provide a means by which you can be contacted if the person taking the survey has any questions.
If this is for "for profit" research (ie marketing and the like), you need to make that quite clear. And you also need to explain how or if you are going to sell our av names and/or IP addresses for marketing purposes or for what purposes you intend to use our names.
If you are outside of the USA, you should really check your nation's laws regarding research with human subjects if this academic work. Im not completely sure, but you will likely find that the Western European, Australian, Japanese, and maybe the South American nations to have similar laws as those in the United States.
Strictly from an intellectual interest, I am curious as to how you are theorizing the fact that what many of us in SL do is "play" and how that may affect our behaviors and identity construction in SL.

Aerowin Pfeffer, Cultural Anthropologist, PhD. and member of the American Anthropological Association. dear professor, first, thank you for your coments. let me assure you that I am working under academic guides and my country low. I am from Israel, an MA student for communication at BGU and my thesis is about personality and motivation in the internet. I left this information out so it wont interfear with people decition to fill the questionnaire. all answers get into a server with no name and I have no use for IP's or the name. the only reason you need to insert your avatar name is if you want to participate a raffle. I dont need it for any other pourpose. best regards, JC

I couldn't really answer a lot of your questions be cause the only choices were yes and no and my answers would have been somewhere in between.

From: Jessy210 Collins can anyone tell me if their is another way to ask residentto fill the questionnaire? in world? Jessy - there is always SPAM - you can spam groups that you belong to, if they allow that sort of thing. Also, drop me an "IM" in world, and I'll spam two very large groups I belong to that allow spam, along with your link. Lelia Wakawaka
