LOL well,at least when people call this a Ponzi scheme, they will be quite on the mark. good idea to limit companies listed on the fake stock exchange to issuing your fake paper. Any business not listed is undoubtedly not fake enough. lol

I take this as satire -- as such it is very funny. Of course we know we will lose any money we give Ponzi.

What is "Ponzi"
09-05-2007 12:36
Well guys, thanks for all the comments. Please feel free to check out our latest product: Proton Growth Fund Check out the latest product, I can't say I will but what I did check out what Ponzi is according to the Wiki; Overview: A Ponzi scheme usually offers abnormally high short-term returns in order to entice new investors. The high returns that a Ponzi scheme advertises (and pays) require an ever-increasing flow of money from investors in order to keep the scheme going. The system is doomed to collapse because there are little or no underlying earnings from the money received by the promoter. |

Well guys, thanks for all the comments. Please feel free to check out our latest product: Proton Growth Fund Sounds like a Ponzi scheme, it's called Ponzi and the website looks like it was thrown together in 4.1 minutes by someone who had just finished reading "HTML for Dummies". Now then, I must just cash out all my real life shares and get all my money into this. I can't lose, surely? DG |

Several people have asked me for more details on our organization and who's actually behind it so by popular request and only very reluctantly we're disclosing some information about ourselves on our website.
Just follow the "about us" link. It's not much to go on but you'll get a rough idea of what we're about and whether you can trust us. Also, you'll know where to start looking for us when things go wrong. |

An insider at Linden Labs has confirmed the rumour that LL is considering banning kumquat and durian pies in mature areas.
On the condition that she remain anonymous, my source showed me machinima videos and chatlogs from the conference room where the Pie Policy discussion was held. They were boring, but I have to admit that someone did say "We should f**ng ban those kumquat pies!" And in the background a male voice whispers "durian too, I bet." When I told her my readers would likely not find her a credible source, she *was* willing to admit that she's the relief night janitor subbing for the other relief janitor that only works on holidays. She also said that as long as I didn't say if she was male or female it was acceptable to tell you that she's 153 cm in height, has black hair, is Asian, and is over the age of 18. She likes lemon merengue pie, and felt that the loss of kumquat pies really wouldn't affect many people. However, the crowd of demonstrators sleeping outside Linden Labs disagreed with her, saying "kum, squat... yeah whatever dude. Got anything ta drink? Can I have some money?" Investors have speculated that this could indeed spur a massive migration of SL residents to the soon to be released virtual world 'SmallMart' created by WalMart's Sam Walton, since each week every Premium Level SmallMart resident will receive a certificate for .05% off WalMart pie purchases. Small Street Exhange (SSE) CEO Ima Wallapu asserts that "these pie certificates will be the basis of a new derivative investment SSE will be launching called the Pi-R-Squared or PRS, (that's pronounced "purse" btw). The PRS will make sophisticated investment schemes available to people who normally would just stop in the bakery for a doughnut. The PRS is designed to allow regular Janes and Joes that have never even hear of SmallMart to still enjoy pie from our WalMart bakeries on the Internet. We anticipate that by Christmas 2007 PRS shares will be worth enough to actually buy a fruitcake, or lebkuchen or something. Pretty good for something worth .05% of a pie, eh?" Wallapu confirmed that the SSE headquarters is indeed at a WalMart facility, although he would not confirm or deny WalMart sponsorship of the Small Street Exchange. He winked a lot and seemed to perhaps have a seizure. I think he was trying to imply that WalMart does indeed sponsor SSE. -- edit: -- My Linden Labs informant turned down my invitation to "stop by for some pie" but she did tell me she can confirm that SSE does indeed operate from a laptop in the employee break room at a Wenatchee, WA, USA Walmart branch. (Her sister works there and has seen the geeky guy who stays in the break room all night after his shift in the warehouse. "Yeah, I know it's SSE, cause the guy was all talking about getting me a purse so I could really get to know him, an stuff like that, like. I showed him the purse I wanted and he started talking about stocks and markets and stupid stuff. I asked him how come he's there in the break room all the time and he told me he'd stay at my place if I have Wi-Fi. Yeah, right. Not my type. He doesn't even take showers." ![]() |
