From a post by Xenon Linden "In fact, one of the programmers recently hired wrote the flowing cape code for City of Heroes, so I expect there will be some interesting new avatar technologies to look forward to."

Imagine what that could do for an Oliver Twist-like city in SL. You know that scene from Stephen King's Needful Things where one character pulls a prank and she tosses mud all over hanging sheets and other assorted garments in a backyard? Well, I'd like to do that in SL... along with Driving Miss Daisy. I'd be Hoke of course. Like Morgan Freeman, but with more watermelon.

I like new features. This one sounds facinating. However, the sight of a clothesline full of 58" waist tighty whities (with stains) flapping in the wind isn't exactly pleasant.

Ooooo, if the cape wrapped all the way around, we could have ponchos!! I wonder if we could ever expect a second skirt layer over the main one that could be used for jackets over skirts... I still remember the abject joy I felt when real skirts were added to SL back in, um, was it 1.1? It's so great to keep getting these new features added and also fun to hear a bit about the talented people that LL is hiring.

This is awsome great news! I look forward to many more avatar changes. Playing hide and seek or chasing someone through clothes lines would be awsome, extremely laggy probably, but awsome.
