The Second Annual Taber Tree is up and ready for decorations.
The Taber Tree is a community-decorated holiday tree.
Rules:
1. Anyone may participate.
2. One ornament/creation per person
3. You may not sell anything there
4. Put your name in the description of the item so we can tell who made it.

For some reason, I can't find my pictures from last year except these two, but I'll post them so those of you who weren't here can get an idea. If anyone else has pics from last year's tree, feel free to post them:

This was truly a great tradition that Maggie started last year. I am so happy that she is able to continue it this year. I dug though my HD and my Photo Album in SL and only found this picture. It was taken and sent to me by Atheus Sklar. Do come one and all and participate in this wonderful event! _____________________

Cereal Milk put the first ornament on the tree. Picture attached. Saaz put his free snowball (attach and throw!) on the tree too. |

I logged in today and found a giant star on the tree! It seems that Maggie is always teasing Sulumor about how big her builds are. hehe,, check out the first picture. I went back sometime later and found Sulumor perched in the tree and her star on top. _____________________

It's such fun to watch the tree evolve.
Now there's snow gently falling and Jake has put copies of his tree out for people to take 9for free). And the ornaments are appearing: Last year, Rasah Tigereye was stuck at the tree, due to computer problems. All he/she could do was stand there and look. He couldn't fly, couldn't move, couldn't build. Every day I'd log on and he'd be standing there, looking at the tree. LOL. I sure hope he puts an ornament up this year....I kind of think of it as "his" tree..... |

I'm far from being a particle expert, but I have made a particle christmas tree, just a miniature size but cute nevertheless. It is placed at the taber tree (Taber 230,89), and is free to copy for anyone who'd like one adorning their home.
