Walk a Year Down Memory Lane

On a lighter note, This month Waves and I celebrate a year in Second Life. Join us as we take a walk down memory lane and get our minds off our troubles. .. . . .

Remember Waves when we just stood around the Welcome Center for days wondering what we do next? Remember that short little guy we saw with a poodle in his butt? Now that scared me. You were the adventours one, you figured out how to move from the Welcome Center to some stores and clubs. If it wasnt for your keen sense of curiousity and how to play games, I might still be standing there today.

Also big thanks to all our other friends who escaped THERE and came to SL before us. They were a huge help too.

Gee love when i suggested the idea, i didnt know you were going to cut and paste every word I said. Dang!!!!

We have had a lot of good times here. I remember i first learned how to use the map and flew from place to place. Didnt see that teleport button on the map. It seems the grid was a bit smaller then too and so flying from one end of the grid to the other didnt really take that long. I couldnt imagine doing it now.

Oh yes our two secret rooms we had hidden behind a wall. And Patrick Playfair came over and gave us our first teleports intot he rooms. We thought we were so clever. First time we bought the Sensual Tango ball dances. We had a pretty good turn out for our very first event. What about 10 to 15 ppl would you say? Then when AR told us it was PG the next day we had the land up for sale and moooooved so fast!!!!

omg yes and remember we tryed to im the guy who owned the land in back of it,to sell and Bullwinkle the moose came hahaha Shwanson S. hahahahaha

Seaside Casino in Kojin. Now that was a big big club. Then he and his group rebuilt that big flying Alien ship. They rocked SL and went tot he top in like a few days. But first . when we moved to Sakai, DNA had that little tiny 1024 spot and he made that outdoor club and he took it to the top of the charts over the weekend by non stop partying.

Those were the days when just about anybody could be on top for a day.

Schwanson had a Bullwinkle outfit on? Im trying to remember that one. I know he was kind of strange that day. . .. . trying to envision the Bullwinkle. ... ..

OMg remember the fights we had over building? We have rebuilt the Tango Room how many times now? The second or third time i thought we would have little bandages on our Avies.

I had totally rebuilt two floors of the Tango Room probably 80x 60 size building that we had argued over one night. The next morning i logged in and Waves had wiped it off the sim. I just stood there in shock. I couldnt believe he did that without talking to me. Then after a few bunches and kicks, and a few romps on some sex balls, we rebuilt it again.

Maybe alot of people are escaping other games to come here and they can't handle the Server Load. *Calls Technical Support, "May I speak to Phillip please? "Sorry, he's on vacation".

remember how you wanted no sqire rooms how some clubs looked, and i made the roof and you said it looked like 100's of herseys kisses

oh and that blacksun group guy that kept trying to get in your pants and DNA didnt like
glad he bought him out, we were building and DNA was starting his wiggit shops

Lets see if I can remember the first time we met Blake? Was it when he was doing one of his dance numbers in a most provocative way at the Tango Room? Or was it when he was a charming gentleman on his best behavior? Oh thats right, Blake is always on his best. LOL hi buds! Where ya been?

well I met him first, then we had that big party at vindi new shop opening,
YOU never met him alone......................

remember that guy with the big big black building that you went to see one night and had that pic of you kneeing on the floor beside the couch, oh yes i remember it was a Sky couch

Ok after building the Tango Room several times, we started doing building events. Mostly newbies would come to watch instead of entering the contest. So then we would end up teaching them. They loved it so much we decided to be official mentors and provide classes. Char brought us into the fold. She was such a nice person to work for.

and she told us about old london too, wow we were tripping on that build, what a cool cool place we still use some stuff from there what a great great build

Oh yes and we skipped right over all the times of me learning how to get dressed. If it was up to me I would still be in my newbie clothes. I hate changing clothes. Waves makes me dress up. LOL

Yes we did do our time of exploring sims, after the burn out of building and teaching. So many places we explored hard to remember them all. Met a lot of great builders and scripters around SL when we did that whole exploring thing.

awwww then Trixie and Mark moved next door, and she made those harley jackets for us, and we gave them a dag bubble i think , hahahahaha

then we met Satchmo, what nabours we had, Trixie,mark,satchmo and DNA who could have asked for better friends in a game

No silly you gave them a piicture of us!!!!!!! LOL. We had just figured out how to use that Ash Text Swapper. We made those TVs and picture frames that swapped out those Snapshots. We thought we were so clever when we first figured out how to make those. Then the night we stood around all night until we figured out how to change the pic in a Dag Bubble. ROFL!!!
