I am! I just signed up successfully today. I did so throught the WoW site. I tried yesterday through FilePlanet, but the server was so bogged down that I have no clue if my application actually made it through...
I am currently downloading the client installer which has me very frustrated. I started it yesterday eve and it's only at 50% right now. I opened the ports they said to open on my firewall, hooked the cable modem directly to my PC to bypass the switch and router, still only getting an average of about 20Kb/s. I tried disabling the firewall alltogether, still the same. Sucks! At this rate it won't be done till sometime tomorrow morning. I can't believe Blizzard is so short on bandwidth that they have to use BitTorrent. Makes me worry about if they will have enough bandwidth to support their userbase without some bad lag. _____________________

The game ran great even months ago, so I wouldnt worry one bit about it.. They also use the same servers Sony is going to use to run EQII.

Dont expect a horrid EQI grind either. You can level comparitively fast and get to the killing of foes soon enough. |

Also, its severely bogging my browser down when loading web pages, is that normal for bit torrent? _____________________

I'm not to familiar with bit torrent, but no I didnt have the slow download you are. They may be evenly dividing the download bandwidth with the servers or something though. At retail it will most likely installed by cd, so wont have this problem.

Nolan, I was having the same problem! I started the d/l at like 6:30am and it was only at 5% by 7:15am. Oy vey. I just hope my connection didn't hiccup, making me lose connection. Man, this is gonna be sooo fun! I already started playing it with a character that Nala let me make. It's beautiful. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee! _____________________

ps: mmorpgs are ebil. I'm a recovering EQ addict and still somewhat of an FFXI player. Oh, and some game called Second Life though I don't personally count that as an mmorpg. c.c I MIGHT play WoW, but dunno. c.c _____________________
