Isn't that just amazing? What is even more sad were the five or six people who were so poor they couldn't AFFORD to neg rate the kiddie. I did take the time to explain how to file an abuse report which is still free at least. Imagine their shock to find out neg rating someone like that actually made them happy?

Why these children are allowed by LL I will never know. I mean, repeated complaints by multitudes of paying customers aught to mean something. I mean, it may be true a lynch mob may not all be bad folk, might even have a few right nice people in it, but ya don't believe for a second they aren't out to string someone up.

W-hat is short for asshat, don't belive otherwise.

A) A neg rate is not something that is against the rules, if it were, they would not have included the feature.
B) The whole 'anyone i don't like must be a child' thing is getting very old.
C) This is an attack on a group.
D) Ass starts with an A.

Disco Duck is right. Actually, he was out griefing in Ahern, and I trip-negged him asking him politely to "stop acting like such a fucking douchebag". My neg-rating him wasn't griefing, but he did immediately "stop acting like a fucking douchebag". Although there are many reasons why he could have stopped, I would like to think it was one of the following:

A) Douchebag starts with a D
B) Disco starts with a D
C) Duck starts with a D
D) Deana Linden starts with a D, and she magicaly appeared at the same time

:D

Did you even read my post? I said people couldn't afford to neg rate them. It isn't a function of Second Life to collect negative ratings like score points...

This is reporting the news, not an attack on a group. One look at their web site can only confirm their nature. Besides, I want the Lindens to read it and they will to edit it. Mission accomplished.

Untitled Short Story
By Hakan
Know that it was a belief of the tribes of South America, at this time, that children were symbolic of new ideas, and that there are two sides to every story.

The days now were getting shorter, and the sun was moving north across the other mountain near the village, slowly, day by day.

The men of the village were always well fed, and when they hunted they were brave and determined. The women of the village were always very beautiful, and they provided enough pleasure for any man, and they were very adept at keeping home. And the boy of the village lived in the chieftain hut, and when he sat and crossed his legs to pray, he was always very content and never troubled. And none in the village had the fear of growing old, for God had smiled on the village and its people.

The village rested near the top of a mountain, which neighbored a taller mountain. It was built on the smaller mountain for it was closer to the river valley that separated the mountains, which made it easier to reach the hunting grounds below.

But no one had ever traveled to the taller mountain, for it was unknown to the villagers, and they did not know the troubles that might await them there.

And the weather only varied from hot to sweltering during the day. The nights brought with them a sense of comfort, and it was very easy to fall asleep in its cool. When it rained, the water was very much welcomed. For as long as any villager had remembered, it had always been summer.

Early in the morning, the men of the village formed a long line. Together they would march in unison, all following the young boy in the front of the line. The young boy led the procession down the mountain path, and among them there was complete silence, until a hunter at the rear saw a dark figure, in the distance, coming down from the taller mountain. He told his fellow hunters and they too saw the figure. But they ignored it for the moment, and continued following the boy.

The boy led them down the mountain, and down in the woods below. The trees were tall and very thin, and the ground they walked on sloped greatly down towards the river that ran its way through the woods. This was where the boy wanted to reach, because the paths and forks of the river were well known to the villagers, and it was easy to reach the hunting grounds if you knew the river paths.

The boy had to make a decision about which path to take, for the river forked downstream almost immediately. He made the decision to follow the path on the right, and no hunter made a comment about his choice.

As they followed the river stream, some hunters would break from the line and climb the hills that ran alongside the river. They would quickly grab or break the stick that caught their eye, and rejoin their exact place in the line. Then, while they walked, they shaped or broke the stick to be either used as a bow of spear, depending on the hunting role they had been assigned to by the boy.

When the woods were thinned and the hills that followed the river were no more, they knew they had reached the hunting grounds.

Some hunters were nervous, either because they had not made a kill in a long time, and wanted to do their duty as a hunter, or they were new to hunting and wanted to make their first kill. But all of them wanted to be noticed by the boy, and gain his favor.

“I am going to kill a red bird today,” said one hunter.
“I will kill a water bird, if they have not yet migrated,” said another.
“The wild cats have noticed us by now, because we crunch the leaves we walk on. I will try to find one,” said an experienced hunter, “and kill it.”

When the boy gave the signal, the hunters scattered. Some formed groups while others went to hunt alone.

But the dark figure, that some had seen coming down from the taller mountain, had followed the hunters and the boy. The hunters had not noticed, for he knew the ways of the hunters, and prevented himself from being noticed. He found a high spot above the hunting grounds, and crouched in silence as he carefully studied their hunting patterns, and waited for a hunter to stray far enough from the group.

“This hunter was not as good as the last,” a hunter, who used a spear, remarked.
“The women will get mad at us,” a younger hunter spoke, who hunted with a bow.

The hunters had gathered all the bodies of the animals they had killed, and placed them in a pile near the center of the village. Among them lay a few monkeys, a bid with a long beak for eating large fruit, a red bird, and a wild cat.

The boy emerged from his hut and walked to the pile of the hunt and ordered a roasting fire to be made for the evening. The hunters all sat next to their kills. The boy walked to the younger hunter with the bow and scratched the top of his head. The young hunter felt proud, while the other hunters tried to feel happy for him, for they had been taught to feel that way by the boy.

At nightfall the feast came. Everyone was happy, and the bellies of the villagers were full of game and nectar and fruits that surrounded the village. But one woman who’s partner had not returned from the hunt was not happy. She thought he was late, at first, and did not tell the others. But now it was night, and she was worried, so she asked the other hunters about him. The last any hunter saw him was when he headed towards the lake, alone, to hunt a water bird.

Off in the distance, on the taller mountain, the hunters noticed a small fire being made. Its light flickered against the silhouetted mountain, and looked like one of the many stars that now filled the night sky above the mountain. They could make out a figure moving around the fire.

The boy took notice and finished eating the limb of animal he was holding.

Over the taller mountain, the first rays of the morning sun broke through, and light soon flooded the valley and woke the animals and villagers on the other mountain.

The missing hunter still had not returned, and the hunters felt a sense of worry. But they did not have fear, and they did not have sorrow, for whatever happened in the world around them was only a part of the plan, and that sense of destiny gave them comfort. They thought only of good things, and would go looking for the lost hunter during the hunt.

Theres a lot of questions raised, like why a boy is the leader of the village. Why they dont fear aging. Who the dark figure is. Hmm, I dont know.

As of right now, i have a total of 2 neg rates, one from someone else, one i don't remember, but i sure don't have 3 neg rates. Here is a picture.

second of all, if a linden showed up, and asked me to stop doing something, i stop doing it. For example, i was standing around waterhead in a giant stay puft marshmallow outfit, (in some trees, not blocking anyone) and was asked by a linden to go away, i guess because the stay puft man is offensive or something, regardless, i put away the avatar. By the way, what was I doing that bothered you?

Doesn't matter, still not against the rules. The fact that the new players did not have enough money to neg rate back does not mean that using the neg rating function is against the rules.

Posting "what" in a really stupid thread, may or may not actually get you banned. If the mod who spots it is in a good mood they might let it slip.

However tempting it may be to post what, don't do it. It is very unlikely you will escape unbanned.

Shame really, as it is the perfect answer to so many threads.
