If you think that's good, you should see what she can do when she's sober :p

Cool, was that the only page?

YAY!!
Thank you for all the kindness and congratulations. Positive attention for SL is a great thing, I was elated to be a part of this. :)

Esther did make one small error- the bit at the top about "designed these avs (and clothes) herself". I did do the clothing on the avatars and shoot the pictures of them, but didnt make the avatars themselves. Oops.
The credits:
The avs pictured are: Nephilaine Protagonist, Neil Protagonist, Delarian Baysklef, and Taessa Weaver. The skin Delarian is wearing is by Govindira Galatea. Neph's hair is by Launa Fauna. I think that about covers it. :D

Thanks Del for posting this. You rock :)

Though the article is uncomfortably and unnecessarily sexist, it's still cool to see one of our most successful members in print. Congratulations, Neph!

Oh yeah, my bangs were by Launa, I believe, and the bob was by Lost. Not sure *exactly* but I *think* that's what it was. :-) I have sooooo many hairs I can't remember them all... ;-)

Oh, I dunno, it wasn't particularly flattering about men.

Er, well, it's a women's magazine, right? They're trying to make it appeal to women ... got it? And it's true, actually. The clothing market is dominated by women. The hair market is dominated by women. Hell, even the most successful land baron in the history of SL is a woman. Midnight City is practically an institution (and we all know that's dominated by women as well). How are the article's remarks about the role women play in SL inaccurate?

Forget it ... this post is about Neph, and we all congratulate her. :)

Yes, it was a great article.

Not just a puff piece either as SL is terribly overlooked in this area.

It's a great petri dish for new ideas on fashion and I find it amazing that it doesn't get talked about more and more in the designer circles.

Some of the ideas and concepts that are being played around with inworld are really leading edge and could easily translate to the runway. If I were a designer, this is the place to be.

Maybe it is accurate.

But in real life most national heads are male, most business leaders are male, most land is owned by men or controlled by them, most products are designed by men, etc. That may be true, but does that make it OK to say "and that's why men are better than women!" because that, or rather it's opposite, was the tone of the article.

Now I don't have a problem with the article being unnecessarily sexitst but if someone wants to call the article unnecessarily sexist then that is fine because it is as accurate a claim as the claims in the article itself are accurate.
