I saw Frank Black and the Catholics, the Dandy Warhols, Subminute Radio, and a bazillion other bands here in Oly. It's lucky to live in a music town - esp. one halfway between two cities. We frequently get mid-week grooveramas. Totally! My boyfriend grew up in Olympia. He used to have his parents drop him off a block away from Capitol Theater so no one would see him with them  I'm jealous, I grew up in a Los Angeles suburb and everyone liked bad music._____________________

Sadly, even though Houston is the 4th largest city in the nation we get hardly anything good. Even the major tours skip Houston  Austin is good for Live music and Dallas often gets the majors.--Jack Lambert Austin rawks And don't forget S.A. -- they get a lot of the majors, as well. _____________________
