Is this ok?

This is not the first (& probably not the last) time I've bought slightly overpriced land to get rid of any unsightly build..

At first it was an uncompleted tower with only the mid section textured.. then I log in today & see its still for sale with a huge untextured sign advertising "Land 4 Sale".
I think this is a tacky way to sell land. I'll admit I was contemplating purchaseing it yesterday so it dosen't bother me as much as it would have had I not been thinking about it already. But now I feel a little like a sucker for buying it & just wanted to bitch about it too *sighs*

If someone wants to buy your land they will! There's several different ways you can sell it. Please don't try & force people to buy it by creating craptacular views for everyone.

I wish people would just let the Land For Sale find menu work instead of placing giant signs all over the place, makes the landscape look tacky, plus it hurts to fly into them. Atleast they did a nice cursive job on the lettering, heheh.

For the longest time there was a "Land For Sale" giant sign in I think Phobos, made everything around it green, sucked.

Yeah, she neg rated me recently for no reason at all too, after more than ten months in-world with no negs at all.

Back on topic.... I guess there's not much one can do about tacky signs (I agree with Oz that they at least made an effort and didnt resort to the usual neon-sign eyesore)... except buy even more land!

It was suggested a whlie ago in some thread that a 'land for sale' forum be set up... wether this would reduce the episodes of view-spoilage or not I don't know... but it seems a good idea to me.

Oh Eddie...if you think you build so well how about building something worth while and put a landing pad on Avalon after people teleport there.
