From: someone Your Neighbors - Name Em? Would they not prefer to keep their own names? Is it really fair to enforce our choice of names on them?

Neighbors..
12-10-2004 07:14
I had none nearby for awhile.. just empty land for sale. Now I have Moonbeast on one side, a big tall Jessie mountain on the other (haven't checked the owner of that), and Den Hare behind me. Oh, and water in front of me... it's so cool to own *real* beachfront property... not just property with a picture of an ocean you can't walk into. --Carolyn (Like a good Auntie, Caroyn is there)

Most of my friends in SL are my neighbours. I love the whole neighbourhood idea, and I like to pop in frequently to see what my homeys are up to or to borrow an egg. I always knock first though.

Lycanis Khan lol I'd like to see him try! I'm pretty sure you would need around... 40 kms (I think it's 40kms... it's 8, 40 or 600... I saw it once as a kid on "Bill Nye" (or something)) of land simply to get the DISTANCE between planets right!!! I know it won't be to scale but I would love to see the finished product!

I should clarify that "realistic" means the planets seemed to be mapped with mercator projections based on photographs.

I've got a new elf neighbor. I don't bother remembering the names of elves, though he is nice.

To the east is the Mushroom Kingdom. To the west is a parcel that has changed hands several times since it was first auctioned, and that I don't think is built upon right now. To the north are two abandoned parcels, one owned by someone who hasn't logged in in six months. I've made offers to buy both, but haven't recieved any replies.
To the south is the Davenport river.
