Taking a Hiatus,

Well folks its been fun here the last two years on the forums however, I think its time I take a major break from them.

Daily I would read and debate and pull a WWF smackdown on stupidity but lately it has gotten so that the flame jumpers are running amok.

I used to use the forums to keep abreast of anything new that would affect "MY" inworld game play but lately considering the context of several conversations and topics I feel it time that I call it a couple a years for the forums.

I will still be reading LL announcements and keeping abreast of things of that pertinance. However, I do think it is time I take a step back from the forums as I slowly seeing myself start to read and then I begin to post a reply and catch myself mid stream being an anus.

So to benifit others on the forums and keep the stupidity factor to a minimum I am going to back off.

Dont get me wrong I will still pop in on occasion but I think I will lurk more than post from now on.

My New years resolution is:

If it doesnt directly pertain to me Im gonna read it and keep my opinions to my self as lately I fear most consider my statements Trolling anyway.

If it does pertain to me I will make one statment and not direct it toward any one individual so that arbitray stupid flame wars cannot ensue from a none aquisitory stament.

Finally, I will refrain from any comentary that may be construed as any form of an attack even if its not intentional I wont respond unless I am sure my comments cannot be misconstrued as an attack. If for one second they can appear that way I will not post any comment on the topic at hand.

To sum it up, Im tired of battling stupidity at times, especially when it comes to individuals that cannot bend to comprimise but continually insist they are right I am wrong and F the rest of SL. Those attitudes are the ones that beset the most bitter forum battles which I no longer wish to participate in.

Im not gone but I wont play the continual drama of the forums all the time anymore.

I know right where you are. I think people would have a lot different perspective on SL if they avoided the forums and spent more time in world.

I enjoyed your posts Shadow. Everything in moderation is healthy, so I think you're doing the right thing by taking a break.

I'm not gone gang Im just on Hiatus meaning Im not gonna jump into the fray of bullshit posts when it ensues anymore. If y'all need me for anything I will still be reading just not posting as much anymore cause of what I mentioned in the first post here.

You know damn well that the only reason you were able to take the hiatus is because of a permissions bug. I was the first in SL to create the hiatus, therefore it is my IP. People like you come along thinking you can just box them and sell them. I am starting a union to protest hiatus barons like yourself.
