Other.. I didn't give out money before, it won't change now.

If I were to host an event, I wouldn't be paying people to attend it. I would host it because it's something I wanted to do, and/or because an occassion was worth it. If I wanted to give out prizes for something, I'd still give them out.

I think a positive side of the event support changes could be people donating non-cash prizes to worthwhile events (whatever they may deem worthwhile) and perhaps a focus shifting toward quality content creation rather than L$.

I doubt it'll change that much. Where I run a contest, prizes will still be given. Whether more or less than at present will depend on circumstances. I'll be cancelling the free raffle though - lol.

Looks to me like the majority in this poll will be giving NO support as they are now not getting support from LL. WTG LL. waits for the trickle down affect.

I have been hosting events where I give out money for over a year now. For the last 8 months or so, I received no Linden support for my events where I gave out money. So my vote was other as I will be giving out the same now as I always did.

PS: The option of "same as I do now" should maybe have been an option?

Actually Blake, there is already a Land Tool Feature that allows you to charge a fee to enter your land/build. Though if people want to make only a certain area of their build charge for admission, then yes scripts can come in handy. I went to a boxing event the other day where this was done.

But, the Land Tools are already there and ready for people to use free of charge if they can't afford a scriptor or are not able to make the script themselves.
