I look for good friendships. I met my RL boyfriend through SL. I have a lot of friends that take this game/chat room way too seriously. I suppose I did, too. oops
 I have had one friend almost quit because of bad relationships, which is crazy, because a person just don't quit life because they had a bad encounter. I also have few friends that are here to just build and create. I feel you can never have too many friends in 1st life or 2nd life.  |

For the record, I'm a fan of 80s Mikey, but not when his producers ended up being ones who were influenced by him... it kinda made this recursive sonic loop that I didn't relate to. I tried getting into Max/MSP for experimental music programming. I got the music part down, but I am too dumb for the programming part. Hahaha... well I would, panda -- but really, I'm no technical maven. Really. Max/MSP confuses me and although I do have a collection of samples generated from that environment and pushing buttons all over (as well as being a past fan of the plugin set known as Pluggo), it's not my area of expertise. My approach to electronic music is like... er... folk music. When it comes to technical discussions, I do a lot of listening.  P.S. Don't call yourself "too dumb". _____________________

I think most people do look for a relationship of some sort on here. Whether it be friend, business, learning/teaching, acquaintence, or romantic. Otherwise, what is the point of interacting with other people? We all form some sort of relationship if we speak to another human being.
Seems odd to me that most voted no. Why do they play this game if they do not like interaction with other people? _____________________

I have to relearn/forget everything that school has taught me about human psychology. I get confused too easily! In that case, I think it is accurate that most people do not seek (romantic) relationships in Second Life. Most of us have existing romantic partners and are content with that part of our selves or, if single, not comfortable with using a game for such a purpose. At least, that is my view on it. After speaking with many on both ends it seems a fair conclusion for some. _____________________
