I was there when the L$ was only worth $0.60 per block of 250. I thought it was a great value for my play money. The equivalent in blocks of $1000 would be $2.40 so I guess the L$ is still pretty darn high. Its definately got room to fall...... hope all those who are making a quasi-living off SL are faring well... |

The market fluctuates. It goes up, it comes down. It's cheap now, so it's a good time to buy... because chances are it will go up again later and you'll make a lot of money. What I don't get is what purpose the same person with four alt accounts has for doing this, other than some sick fascination with manipulating a market. Hmmmmm.... We sit behind a computer and exist/play SL in whatever way its software and its not Real. Sounds like a game to me just like any other where you can sell trade currency inworld to RL$.
The only reason L$ has a RL$ value is for those that make it that way just like Gold in one game or platnium in another. Just happens that there is not much else to base SL on, can't go out and do much more than have a buisness of some kind ...Land selling..Malls.Clubs. Build and Explore and Socialize. If LL close tomorrow and SL no longer existed L$ would be worth nothing but RL$ would live on. So stop making it about RL$ and move on and enjoy your SL for more than just a way to make a buck. _____________________
