I started playing SL in Nov and havnt touched those pads since. I also got myself a PS2 which I've played all of about twice. This is pathetic. Maybe we should form a support group... no wait, that would imply that I *wanted* to stop playing.

This is terrible! I just CANNOT get a little wooden box to appear when I stretch my arm out and point it to the ground. What happened? Can we not build here anymore? Did I miss something? I must say, though, there is absolutely NO lag and no matter which way I turn to look, everything I can see loads instantly. Quite a patch, takes away our building ability, but also takes away ALL lag.

Oh.. wait. I think I am stuck in that RL again, as I know my dog didn't join SL. Damn.

Oh, and I too will be gone for 4 days the second week of Jan. Vegas, baby, VEGAS! I doubt the hotel I am at will have broadband and dailup sure won't help my SL addiction, I tried that a few weeks ago when I was out of town. You don't know what fun is until you have to wait 15 minutes for your inventory to load, and another 5 or 10 for the world around you to load. Then there is that part about not being able to move.

I guess I will just have to hope for some wireless broadband in range from my hotel, maybe with help from a nice external anntena.

I don't think I will be carrying my laptop down the strip so I wont' be using the broadband in the lobbies of hotels that have it.

Btw why is it my dog whines when I tried to rotate him using only the power of my mind and a click on the mouse? [And a kick up the jacksie.. J/kJ/k]
