Anyone know what's happened to Galleria City?

I notice that both Galleria City and Galleria Skywalk have disappeared. Anyone know what's happened?

They were sold and are under new management.

Can't remember who bought em - might check the Finder inWorld.

Lensey Roark is overseeing development of the new Rodeo Drive, and adjacent to it will be Beverly Hills. I watched Amy Stirling working on the new city the other day... quite exciting!

Here I was hoping that we had Godzilla roaming around stomping stuff, or something cool like that. Oh well.

Anshe bought them. They are now a part of the Centreville network.

hehe.. I think Torley was refering to something else. Tor states: "Lensey Roark is overseeing development of the new Rodeo Drive"

But I know that Anshe bought the Galleria sims, and pulled them into the centreville network. No idea if she has someone else running them now though.

Check the sims on the map now where Galleria and such used to be. They have been renamed in a Californian theme:

Beverly Hills (Lensey Roark), Rodeo Drive (Amy Stirling), 5th Avenue (Lensey Roark)

If you looked it up, I'm sure it is correct Torely. Of course, the original galleria sims could have been moved. But I know some people pulled their shops out after Anshe bought them. Maybe she sold them to new owners? I'm sure it is possible.

That's a good question, Pen. I don't know the whole story -- anyone involved wanna share? -- but these sims were formerly the Galleria sims. I saw them being renamed, and they are doing a complete rebuild of the whole works.

Or at least a known griefer terrorizing the population, like the illustrius Grimmy Moonflower.

Anshe only owns/owned one of them I believe

Anshe bought Galleria Skywalk, linkin bought Galleria City.

Anshe's busy... or something... so she sold them.

Lensey bought Galleria Skywalk and renamed it Rodeo Drive.

Galleria city is Amy's and is now Beverly Hills.

5th Avenue was added as is Lensey's as well, I believe.

Galleria City = Sold to Linkin Slate

Galleria Skywalk = Sold to Anshe Chung

Anshe Chung then sold Skywalk to Lensey who changed the name to Rodeo drive. Linkin changed Galleria City to whatever it is called now.

Watching the new cities being built is quite a thrill. Seeing Amy move her arm in all sorts of various positions while setting up the road network... yay!

I am really sad to see all that hard work you and Jimmy put into Galleria city sim go down the tubes.. it was quite amazing

Wait... Anshe no longer owns Centreville?

That's not a good sign if it's true. Anshe seems to know what she is doing, so if she's selling...? but there again maybe there is some extra info not specified here, like what Sensual was saying about mainland sims?

FWIW, I am not a fan of malls *at all*, and yet... I visited Centreville Sky Mall the other day, and I was *very* impressed by how it looks. Blame the hired architect or whatever, but its really very easy to navigate around, beautiful, and lagfree.

It is how Briana and Lensey said: Linkin bought Galleria City and I bought Galleria Skywalk. I also tried buy Galleria City, but he outbid me After this we moved Centre Ville sim to connect all three sim together. I wanted help preserve the Galleria sims and expand it eastward moving CV Sky Mall to it.

However some retailers in Galleria Skywalk moved out after they see my name on sim. I think they wanted encourage me to focus more time on buying and selling land instead of spend time preserving and developing sims. It also seem that some shoppers became tired of 250m altitute place where they can not fly. So I sold Skywalk to Lensey for her new mall project and because I thought that is also good for the remaining retailers in this case. And looking how well sim is doing now this was good move for everybody

Then I found one nice sim on mainland (Netherbeck) next to telehub and bought it. And also some land in neighbour sims. We moved Centre Ville Mall there and will also move market soon. It is very nice area on mainland and Aura is building one very lovely mall building everybody should take look at! Kyim's Bingo! also move there and I plan link the new Centre Ville location by transport system with other telehub markets on mainland such as Nuba, Mahulu, Hanson etc. The new mall is already almost rent out, so should go there soon or contact me
