From: Kris Ritter Ya know what I find funny? Most RL nations bitch about their governments and local administrations and the restrictions they bring and the freedoms they inhibit. Here we are pioneering a completely new virtual evolution that we have the ability to shape into the utopia we dream of... and people are screaming for legislation, governments, more rules and regulations merely because they don't know how to conduct themselves as a group or community and need to be told what to do instead of trying to think for themselves.
Humans are odd creatures. So glad I'm not one. And therein lies the problem....take humans out of the mix and the problem is solved.

I am going to not respond to any of the posts and deal solely with the title of this thread.
Of course slander is allowed in the forums - along with "legal", not-quite-over-the-legal-line, nsatiness. Also allowed is trolling, rambling, ranting, venting, inanity, insanity, reputation abuse, unsubstantiated accusation, self-aggrandizement, twisting "well-established truths", outright lies and other such things.
All of that has been routinely ignored by the Lindens multiple times, in multiple threads, on a very inconsistent basis.
Even asking the question raises the question - where the hell have you been/what have you been reading if you have to ask?

Of course, false light/defamation of character is a horse of a different color... e.g., financial loss does not have to occur... but that's a discussion for a different thread, and one that's far more interesting than slander/libel
going back to bed now lol
