Ok, this has been bugging me lately... which lindens do what int he company? How is the company organized? Who exactly ARE the head honchos (aside from philip, of course)?
Do ALL the workers in Linden Labs have an avatar? Do some not even play the game? Who's a liason, who does network code, who does rendering code, and so on? I want to know LF _____________________

This is old, so it's probably wrong, but I have this in my inventory for times like these...
The following Lindens take care of: Aaron -- anything that looks wrong Andrew -- anything that moves Ben -- major content creator, master scripter Cory -- everything but the kitchen sink (unless it's scripted) Colin -- Colin Linden: you havent lived until you've seen people tripping on acid doing a nude jello slip and slide Doug -- anything your avatar sees (or doesn't see but should) Eric Linden -- graphical randomness Hamlet -- anything having to do with the New World Notes Ian -- anything that involves data James -- anything you use in the app Jim -- anything having to do with the website Philip -- all meta issues (the boss) Phoenix -- anything your avatar owns, including the kitchen sink (scripted or not) Richard -- anything your avatar does (or does not do but should) If any Lindens on/off the list who want their description changed/added then go ahead and reply/IM me  _____________________

I was flipping through the profiles of Lindens one day, alot of them tell you what they do in their profile, so go profile hoping.

I'd say the enslavement is coming along nicely.
He came back in time. Set up a company to create the most addictive software ever. Implemented the most advanced graphics engine known to man or machine (obviously some borrowed code from the future.) I'm quite happily enslaved Now if only I could plug in completely so I don't have to play the RL part of it any more. How much extra land can I get for the energy I produce once I'm "plugged in" ?  |

Well I know Ben Linden is a Jr. Game Designer. He was a Liason for a while and when he moved to the area that Linden Labs is in, they offered him a job as a Jr. Game Designer. Basically he scripts things.

Oooo, oooo, don't forget Nova, a liaison, and John, one of the, er... actually, I'm not sure what John does, but he's a nice guy. I believe there is also both a Dan and a Daniel Linden; Daniel is a liaison, and Dan is a builder, I think.
And is Catherine a Liaison? I thought she was in marketing... |
