It's not a harsh strident group trying to convert people to libertarianism.
It's not concerned with activities within SL.
It's just a group for folks who are already libertarian in real life to band together in the Second Life world.
The group is open admission, just look for Libertarian Party of Second Life in groups and join if you are a lib and want to .

Your utter lack of political enthusiasm concerning your second life makes me think "Apathetic Party of Second Life" would be a more appropriate moniker.

 back at ya. man, does that pipe bring back memories. little ones made with two sized drill bits on the the long air tube and a bit bit for the bowl . the big bongs with the multiple tubes coming out, we melted a screen sucking on one of those one of the times the police came and the two guys who looked a bit too old and dressed just a bit too hip turned out to be narcs and some of us like me got off scott free because we were out in the living room and the others got put away, some doing some serious time, because they were in the back room cutting up the bricks . then there was the time the SF Vice Squad raided the Libertarian Party headquarters and trashed the joint and put all of us in jail and some of them ending up doing some real time. I really didn't like being in jail.

Incidentally, since libertarians are all about less government and so on, you'd be interested to know that a certain Linden has interfered unduly in a legitimate land sale.
An individual had put up 3072 land for 10 linden, and our man happened to be browsing land sales at the time and jumped at the opportunity. The seller, not willing to accept responsibility for their stupidity, took it to the Lindens. Unfortunately, though most would have laughed this guy out of his land, he happened to come across the one guy who apparently never heard of "personal responsibility" or anything silly like that.
This Linden currently has confiscated the land parcel, even though our man had already tiered up in order to accomodate it into his current holdings. Our guy refuses to accept a refund, and questions the Linden's dubious claim as to whether buying land is harassment.
If the Lindens want to create a living and breathing SL here, they need to stop moderating like they have some sort of divine right, and interfering in the affairs of private citizens, except in the most extreme of cases.
