I aim to please. Well, in order to defend myself since you're obviously talking about me personally...  (actually I just want a rant)...I have to admit I didnt try the preview. Actually, not true. I tried to try the preview and couldnt get in. But anyway, I tried the last set of previews. Was it 1.5.9 or something like that? I tried it extensively. I actually liased with 2 developers on specific bugs, and reported some 20 or so. Guess what happened? That's right. Preview was not even remotely comparable with the real thing, and there were dozens of new bugs that didnt appear in preview, most of which are still with me now. I guess I should have tried harder, given that the advent of 1.6 has rendered SL entirely unplayable, with 100% reproduceable bugs that crash me each and every time. Whether being in the preview or not would have helped, I don't know. But I seriously doubt it. Anyhoo, the last three months or so of bug reports by me - and some for even longer - have gone totally unacknowledged by LL, so call me jaded, but I don't see any value in bothering. And yet still I dutifully report every bug and log every crash. So yeah. In conclusion: you bastard. |

You're not the user that I specifically target, but I think you know this.
I'd like to apologize and make it all better, but of course, that is all outside my control. If it is any consolation, I'd try to help if you'd like - system review, or whatnot, but I'm thinking you've been down that road already. My only solid advice so far is to ditch ATI, but again, you probably know that too. Sorry Kris. |
