both IGE I believe are for the IGE trade in system... Its like GOM but a bit more fixed. Kurohyu Song is an old SL resident whos been around for a long time. Im guessing Anshee is Anshe's alt.
I dunno the other people.

I've met almost everyone on that list. How long have you been around? If you are only a month old or something then of course you don't know the people in SL who don't cash out enough (or can't cash out because...well...they are the bank).

Yup, I've heard of every person on that list. And you know what? I really, really think this information is none of our business. The leaderboards are outdated and fairly useless. Also, many of the people who are making a lot of money on a daily basis within SL cash it out relatively quickly, so they never make the leader board. Hence, it's not a true indicator of all the big players.
Please, LL, it's time to get rid of the leader boards.

You know, these top 10 could unite as a company like DeBeer's and control the price of Lindens according to how much they cash out at a time. If they all cashed out simultaneously, they could devalue the Lindens to almost nothing. Most merchants wouldn't be able to inflate their prices fast enough and there would be a huge buying frenzy that would homogenize the classes (classes based on who can afford what). Just saying Would everyone suddenly lose interest for a while if they could afford whatever they want? Think of the land grabs that the average person could make. Prime real estate would be going to newbies. The Great Depression of SL... in reverse: The Great Consumption.

Everyone knows the big wheels get to keep none of their own oil, for they are forever greasing the machine to keep it running. Me, I like my oil and I like it when I want it... so when I do, I'll turn a few and earn a few and then take a nice, long soak in it until it runs out... then... time to squeak again! Besides, I find it a rare bird in SL who is willing to do more than talk about things. I tend to be an action person when I'm ready to roll... and if someone else wants me to move on their behalf, they need to (say it with me now) OIL ME! (I'm just going to stop with this analogy now before it turns into a tar pit.)
