Shadow *grins* I am but a child... eyes wide open, arms grasping around... looking for that next thing to learn and enjoy in this wonderful world of Second Life. And now I sleep, dreaming of physical towers, and neon watermelons and a strange squeaking noise -- knowing that what I have experienced here today has made me a better person and hoping just hoping hoping that I may help others on their surreal path as well.

Maybe LL removed it because of potential legal problems. Though words like Protagonist and Raven are ubiquitous enough to escape notice, Radiks is a unique enough term so as to be a potential liability.

Very strange... if you do a Find for Radiks, the overwhelming number of Residents with that name seem to have been born on Jan. 5. Except for one Professor Radiks -- rezday Dec. 14. Hmmmmmm. I just also noticed that there is a group called Kourier, appropriately enough, containing many of these Radiks.

Yep... We are part of a class at Elon University in NC called "Imagining Technology." Basically we look at technology in films, and we are playing the game during class time.. gotta love it A homework assignment that has been given involves me having to interview 3 avatars in second life... any volunteers? Thanks a lot!

Pft, A bit dissapointed its restricted! Roadkill Radiks would be a great companion to YT Radiks. I thought the last name Oz looked a bit suspicious too for all the people with it suddenly. Can't educational programs get crappy names instead of cool ones? I was into Dragon BallZee a very long time ago, then I saw some real anime. Dragon Ball (without a Z or GT) is the best of that series IMO, had more originality to it and the battles didn't take 40 episodes untill towards the end (when it became DBZ). The series still lacks majorly compared to some other high class anime.

What about Inuyasha? I'll be Kagome. Animie is awsome and the "Radiks" name, well... it's... umm different.. but then again Loveless aint any better. But it was the best I could find. Why don't they let you type in your own anyway? Maybe I wanted to be Bulma Breif, part of the underwear family.

In my own odd little way, I thought it was interesting that the three people who responded "Yes, interview me!" to our friendly Radiks request were the three people who have been most open about being Aspie in-forum.
Food for thought, or completely off-topic?

Actually the name Radiks is being used as a last name for a group of students. We are in a class and chose the last name Raven but it was already in use. One of the books incorporated into our class is Snow Crash and so the last name Radiks is quite appropriate. Glad to see that at least our entrance had some kind of effect though! See you in there.

Amend that Hiro, "...and middle-aged potheads." I've seen a group of grown men watching and laughing at DragonBall Z. It was quite a sad thing; perhaps irony is dead.

I'm surprised no one chose "YT" in the class. Or "Hiro Radiks." Hmm... odd twist to the book: "YT Protagonist"
