How do you embed an image inline ina forum post? Ive seen it done, so I know its possible, but the obvious (img or html tags) dont seem to produce the desired effect: ie they produce a hyperlink out to the image, rather than the image actually inline.

Ive noticed that in some forums. It wokrs in this forum, that's for sure, but I think it might be disabled in others(I know New World Notes has it disabled, or just broken)

You use the vbCode tag for image, which is [ img ] url [ /img ] with no spaces. The image must already be on a web server for this to work, like so:

I have had problems with this myself. Make sure you have the option to see them via your control panel. The [img][/img ] should produce the desired result, but like I said, it hasnt worked properly for me.
This post shows some testing a couple of us did. I just reviewed that thread again and I am now seeing some of the links I didnt see when we first were experimenting with it all. |
