My Scrabble board is currently in my inventory. . . but I'm gonna pull it out again tomorrow. A possible issue you may be thinking about is keeping the tiles secret from other players. I dealt with this by not dealing with it at all. Basically, if people want to cheat at Scrabble, they are going to. Knowing your opponents tiles doesn't give you much advantage and tends to just introduce confusion to your own play. If you're desperate to stop people from cheating as much, you could play timed games. Basically, my Scrabble board has all the movement and tile placement functions. Getting the tile shuffler right was a bit of an issue. IM me in game Arch sometime in the next few days and I'll give you the demo. The movement of the tiles is pretty cool I think, and others have agreed It does require a large number of prims (somewhere in the neighborhood of 450) but I have the room at my new place. Hopefully posting that I'll work on pulling it back out tomorrow will actually make that happen

Oneironaut is the most solid evidence I've ever seen that pot does not impair one's ability to reason =) This guy has like zero programming experience and has managed to code some of the coolest things I've ever seen in SL. Like the fully functional Rubik's cube that even solves itself!

Maybe this has been addressed elsewhere already, but how about basic learning/practice sessions for those of us (me) who'd like to learn to play poker? I'm interested in texas hold 'em, but I've never even played basic poker.

Monopoly, but with the properties named after SL attractions.
I want to build a hotel on "University of Second Life" and "VERTU Headquarters".

Someone already has an SL monopoly, but I think he is gone.
How about uno?

From: someone Originally posted by Torley Torgeson That's a really interesting possibility, and for some reason, all of a sudden, I'm thinking Rainman.
I'm not sure what other games there are, especially in the multiplayer game dept. But if lag could be lessened in some cases, we could have more games that are dependent on "twitch" action.
Archaegeo, when you said , I was seriously thinking of some sort of a mini-Dungeons & Dragons. SimCast is currently producing an interactive Dungeons & Dragons themed game, pitting player against player, in a fantasy medieval environment stretched across two private sims. Included extras will be mini quests, ren faire like gatherings, full scale medieval battles, and the ability to repair your weapons and armor through mineing and processing various ores.

Ili, you missed AER-101 last night, Texas Hold'Em rules and basic strategies But stop by anytime for a low limit game. Ive got the secret part down One, that was pretty easy, and currently im looking at it being a max of 105 tiles at the moment. Ive got the board, the shuffle, the random tile draw, and up to 4 players. Doing tile placement and movement next. Hmmmmmm didn't Sierra used to make a sort of treasury compilation of classic games? I wonder what's in there that's currently missing from SL that could be recreated and improved upon.

I'm currently working on Wheel of Fortune and a huge Pinball game... other ideas i've had are Life, 3D chess, Chutes and Ladders, and Connect Four... just not sure when i'll get around to them.

From: Lynn Lippmann CandyLand -- SL style. This got me thinking...how cool would a sim-wide boardgame (like Candyland, Monopoly, etc.) be?!
