Andie, that was all towards taylor. But you arent off the hook either. You have good intentions, but a horrible way of putting that into effect. Babies in second life is a great idea, but you dont, and never will, have a monoply over it. Your trying to copyright the term "baby" in second life is the most pathetic thing I have ever heard. You seem to be a nice person, but your bussiness practices are mediocre.

A pretty innocent post about a SL creation is fast turning into unpleasant mud slinging. The copyright issue is a pretty interesting one, although I agree it's unlikely anyone could copyright the term 'baby'. In any event, if there's nothing left to discuss then let's move on.

Don't let this thread discourage you - your intentions were very clear. While no one can own an idea in SL, it is clear that this is special to you and you put a lot of care and affection into it. That will always separate what you sell from anyeone else. There will always be detractors, derivative people. You have consistently been one of the nicest people in these forums and in SL, and to see you maligned in any way upsets me. It is very obvious from this thread who is in the wrong, and it is definitely not you.

Andie IMD me it wasnt a one way thing so she isn't so innocent, and I find it sad everyone seems to think they know the whole story when infact they don't. Thing's are not always as they seem, and I choose not to post IMS because Ive read its against TOS. Wish I would have saved the chatlog and posted it like she choose to save CERTAIN IMS and post them. Because this is really bullshit

So, instead of jumping on Taylor, why not just keep quiet unless you know all of what went on. Oh, and posting IMs is against the rules, I am sure it will be reported. Taylor is a friend of mine, and she does not deserve this mess in the forums, especially from people who know nothing about what the IM was for.

Is this gang up on Taylor time? Taylor could have posted the entire chat history of IMs but that violates the TOS so she did not, and now all of you are jumping to conclusions about this and the context of that message. This is really not fair to Taylor who is a great person.

I'm not too shaby with the english and here I see someone simply trying to seperate the ideology of a human baby -vs- a baby doll perhaps. Can't you understand the difference between some one doing something from the goodness of thier heart, like making babies and trying to add more to the experince of "having" one, and personnal business motivations? Where did you get this copyright thing? I see someone nicely asking, "please" even, that you seperate builds such as dolls and toys from the implied special nature of having a "baby". Not diggin on ya Ryen, you just seemed to come out, guns blazing, and may be targeting an innocent bystandard.

Think we could all give the poor lady a little slack, try not to get it twisted upside down.

And in all the oppostions defense, thier may be more to this than I know, and I apologize in advance.
