...and as much as I love NIN ...johnny did a much better rendition of hurt....especially if you see the video and knew about his life

Actually, you know what? Pretty much all "growl" metal.

That, and anything with lyrics that are vapid, ridiculous, and utterly contemptible if you actually consider them (see "most top-40 rubbish";).

Kid Rock - He's about the lamest "American Badass" i've ever seen.

Avril Lavrine - As if her voice weren't bad enough, she commited numerous carnal sins of lyric writing with that insipid sk8ter b0i crap song. No! You are NOT allowed to rhyme "boy" with "boy"! It's the same word!

Metallica - which I used to love til they named me as public enemy number 1 for downloading an mp3 of them doing the Imperial March (the only metallica mp3 I had on my hard drive, so it had to be the one), which they don't even own the rights to!

50 Cent - and any other rapper who claims to be hardcore. I forget who it was who pointed out that any truly hardcore gangsta' rapper would be dead. Sorry, you ain't no Biggie. You ain't even DJ Jazzy Jeff

and, sorry, I gotta Defend the Squirrel Nut Zippers - they're a jazz/swing band. If you don't get jazz, I suppose that's fair enough.
