Above Periwinkle and Purple there appears to be a large land mass with many of the sims named Bambi.

And sims below wall and points south are acting strangly.

Can you make a screenshot before you log off? LL might have accidentally made them visible for a short bit.

Looks like I picked a bad time to invest in US$20k of land. Oh. Wait. That wasn't me. :D

Picture, please!

The world is flat. There is nothing beyond the great northern ocean. I have explored, I have scrolled across the great sea several screen-heights and there's nothing there.

(Maybe some Linden fat-keyed the Second Sesame Street opening day button.)

Are you sure it's "Bambi" and not "Bamboo"?

Yeah, that's what I was wondering. Bamboo01-28 are LL sims under construction apparently.

Here are some choice lyrics for thought:

When the pimp's in the crib ma
Drop it like it's hot
Drop it like it's hot
Drop it like it's hot

That being said, I'm looking forward to the new land bein' dropped on us Residents when it's hot... Bambi, Bamboo, whatever it's called! :)

You want hot chunks of land being dropped on the residents? o.O

People! See the TRUE face of Torley Torgeson! She who would welcome such a disaster to befall the unwitting residents of our world!

bambi's mother died.

the plural of bamboo is bamboozle.

the magellen chronicle was cute for a couple of weeks.

secrecy about feature and land releases is just plain silly.

Cool.

No need to worry about a land crash. However, methinks SL might be getting ready to do a marketing blitz!

Well, 1.6 is just around the corner, and since the cat is partially out of the bag, I may as well post a pic of the infamous bamboo sims.
Anyone wanna try and fit the pieces?

The only thing that pops into my mind when I see that pic is that it looks way too similar to the way There.com islands look from a super-high zoom.

*shudder*

For once, I really hope I'm wrong.
