I made a white and red kimono with a red obi. I have it at my place in Varney (don't know the exact coordinates. it might be 256,25, but it's near the Stillman telehub. If you want a different one I have some that aren't for sale, but I could part with. Send me an IM if you are interested. :D

Konnishiwa Omega San. Joan made a series of 4 kimono's, suitable for special occasions (lively prints and use of color). They are available at the shop in Yamato town, Dore. She also made a blue satin outfit for men, but I don't think that's in the shop yet.

No, I said: "I am very sexy as well."

Well, here, I'll give you something to translate:

"Hola, me llamo Andres y mi casa es en Michael Jackson's cabasa. Yo soy muy socialbe y amable, pero yo soy muy tonto tambien. Me gusta nadar y patinar, y yo voy a la playa todos los dias."

Anyone who knows Japanese want to comment on "Domo Arigato Mr. Roboto"?

Shouldn't it be Tomo?
(Not saying that isn't what the song says, it is what the song is called....what I'm thinking is that it's wrong. lol)

Lol, darwin i could never translate that on my own. Thank jeebus theres dictionary.com and their translator. Very nice sentaces :D

"Hello, I am called Andres and my house is in Michael Jackson's cabasa. I am very socialbe and amiable, but I am very idiot also. I like to swim and to slide, and I go to the beach all the days."

Garoad I have no idea if thats even what the song says, lol, i was just going by memory and what it sounded like to me. And I dunno if it should be Tomo or what, input on this from someone knowledgeable would be good. :D

No I'm pretty sure the song says "Domo" (I've Yahoo searched it before), but AFAIK it should be "Tomo", unless there's a variation I don't know about, or I'm just plain wrong!

It's a pretty cool song, anyway, hehe. I think I'll request that on Slive tonight rofl

Oh, right, for some reason I was thinking hablas, but that's you.

Anywho Oz,

"Hello, my name is Andres and I live in Michael Jackson's head. I am very socialbe and amiable but I am also very foolish. I like to swim and skate, and I go to the beach every day."

The spelling things were because of a lack of accents, and besides certain contextual errors, that was a pretty good automated translation!

Im afraid I dont know 'domo' by memory. I looked it up in the nearest japanese dictionary (which conviniantly fell under my dresser :D) and found an entry for doomo (doumo),

it is:
doomo: very; much; rather; quite.

Fully Nihongo-de (Japanese Language), the sentence would read

(ROMAJI) Roboto san wa doumo arigatou
(HIRAGANA) ロボト さん わ どうも ありがとう

In Eigo-de (English language)

Much obliged Mr. Roboto
-or-
Thank you very much, Mr. Roboto.

==Chris

Note: Im only a newb at Japanese, so if Im wrong *please* correct me, it will probobly relieve me from some embarrasment if I make the mistake later on :D

Ok, just a quickie, cause I'm at work.
Domo (also spelled doumo or with a slash above the first o to show the elongated sound) is an adjective akin to very, yet almost exclusively used in thanking someone (どうもありがとう; ie: thank you very much). But you'd never want to use it as a full replacement for "very" as saying something like, "なんか、この部屋ってさぁ、どうもアッチと思うない?” would net you a lot of blank stares. :)

It can also be used by itself as a rough equivilant to "Thanks," but there are things like politeness levels and what not that can make the intent a bit fuzzy. Of course, that's not really any different from English.

A kimono would be cool... Maybe I should make a Haori-hakama for the New Year. :)

Beklager, men jeg kunne simpelthen ikke motstå sjansen til å skrive mitt språk i forumet. Dette kan Charlotte Angel få oversette alene hah!

God Jul og hold dere på matta! :D
