In seriousness though I think that's where gays misrepresented. As always being clean, well dressed, and more emotional than an average guy. Then again a lot of folks view a guy as a sports fan with a fixation for cooking lots.

So who knows. I think if a guy can be sensitive, it doesn't mean he's gay, he's just able to be more open about how he is rather than let pride and ego stand in the way as some will do.

glyth, don't sweat it. find friends that don't believe rumours. you might just have surrounded yourself with a juvenile crowd.

Glyth, people who meet will you find that those rumors hold very little weight. There are always very angry, bitter people who try to take the "J" out of your "Joy" by spreading rumors, telling lies, and being downright nasty to you for whatever reason they deem sufficient for as long as they like.

If anything, consider it a different sort of compliment in that you dominate their thoughts so much that they have to express it repeatedly through saying horrible things about you whenever they can because they just are not strong enough to stop thinking about you

to answer your question, if the rumours of the rumours are true, those people are not your friends. but they don't have to be your enimies either. your best defence (and revenge) is to never even think of them again.

First of all, if they're talking behind your back, then don't associate with them.

Second of all, maybe they're doing so because you write like a ten year old and make broad assumptions including gay men being affectionate.

Thrid of all, we're not going to help you here. You need to solve these problems for yourself. If you're going to wallow in self pity with your "I used to be cute" site, then you'll get no where. Shape up or ship out, and stop whining.

Think I'm being harsh? I used to be completely broke. I whined for a little while, I begged for favors, and I realized I couldn't live like that. I started a company from nothing. It's now not only successful, but also the parent company of another, successful hosting company.

So do what I did and shut up.

Friendship in SL can be weak with some folks. You may make friends who'll ask you to promise to keep secrets for them. Then when their life turns to crap, they then use it to try and destroy you even though they had you promise to not speak about them. Sad attempts to dig themselves out of the holes they put themselves in. It shows a very weak person who has no personal ability to take care of themselves.

So advice to you, drop em and stop worrying over them. They're losers. If they really are doing it, they're just another example of commonplace no-lifers in SL.
