There is a thread where someone is convinced that homosexuality is a form of "insanity" brought about by demonic possession.
This "homosexual insanity" is caused as a result of the possessed person's willing possession by the demon(s), and is aided and abetted by the collaborative activity of other demon-possessed persons. This is the coolest thing I have read in a while. Now I just have to wonder if these people are for real or if it is all just a bunch of people like me trying to one-up each other with crazy ideas. _____________________

The threads about not letting your daughters fly because the airlines are strip searching women with big breasts had me on the floor. http://www.christianexodus.org/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=1229 http://www.newswithviews.com/NWVexclusive/exclusive62.htm I am not entirely sure that my brain could come up with the ludicrous ideas they vomit. But I could try for sport. Let me know if you start to projectile vomit pea soup. Or at least take some pics to post on their board. _____________________

I must say this though, there are some on that board who are questioning, some who wonder why the few are alienating themselves instead of following the words of their philosopher and for them I have great respect. Sorry had to say that as I have been reading the forums and came across some diamonds in the muck.
One example: Goodness! Just when I was about to quit my studies this evening I came across this passage, still relating to Romans I, and thought I'd share; again, I'm amazed at how the same text can be interpreted. But what of Paul's statement at Romans 1 where "females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust towards one another"? The answer lies in Paul's words in verses 22 & 23: "Although asserting they were wise, they became foolish and turned the glory of the incorruptible God into something like the image of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed creatures and creeping things." Obviously, Paul's reference here is to idolatry. As mentioned above in examining the Hebrew scriptures, many pagan idol-worshipping religions of Paul's day taught that by granting sexual favors to the high priest, the one giving the favor would be rewarded with fertility of crops and offspring. It then becomes clear that Paul's reference was not to same-sex, loving relationships, but his condemnations focused on heterosexuals who, going against their own sexual nature, granted sexual favors to the leaders of pagan religions in expectation of reward by the pagan gods. _____________________

Scary thing is, it's not a parody. They are serious about this shit. Imagine them calling a constitutional convention. Rewriting the whole US Constitution? OMG, that would be a disaster.

I did come across a few who were acting in a way that I associate with true Christianity.
I still like the idea that I suffer from demonic possession. I mean sure, there are the voices and the pea soup but I never thought that could be the reason. By the way, I am a little lacking in the area of demonology in the Christian faith. Are there many demons? Are they like Satans version of angels? I'm not sure where demons come from or how they came about. Anyone have info? _____________________

Hank I am with ya... they crucify their own as well. Anyone who interprets the bible in a manner askew of their beliefs is massacred. If you read the letter dissenters are not welcome. If you disagree with their interpretations of bible or constitution you will be silenced. _____________________

The demons are the other fallen angels who followed Lucifer (god's fave angel, he was the pretty one) when he was booted from heaven for being jealous of the belly buttoned beast. Of course many believe that the dissenters who have gone before us (some are universal asshats others scientists and philosophers) make up the rest of the minions who meddle in christian affairs and force them to look at boobies and masturbate. _____________________

Well I want to make it clear right now that I am in no way possessed by some satanic sidekick.
Only the most beautiful of angels possesses me. By the way, possesses is an odd word when you actually have to type it out. It definitely explains the homosexual lisp. I mean look at all those esses. _____________________

Now I just have to wonder if these people are for real or if it is all just a bunch of people like me trying to one-up each other with crazy ideas. Oh, yeah. Very real. In my pre-ex-ex-gay days (lol), that was part of a very common school of thought pertaining to the spiritual origins of homosexuality. You had the standard cornucopia of causations (at least for males): 1. Over-identification with mother. Possibly domineering mother. 2. Strained or adversarial relationship with father. No male role modeling. 3. A more sensitive emotional temperament. 4. An inability or unwillingness to accept the lordship of God in a fatherly sense. 5. Sin-enabled demonic habitation (not the same as possession). And on and on and on. Lived it, done it, now running as far as I can from it! _____________________

I was reading another thread on there where they are talking about the rapture and the end of days. Much speculation. Has the rapture already happened? Are we living out Revelation now?
One guy, who seems to be the leader, has actually outlined the "official" way that the end of days will work. Basically it's that damn European Union that will be the Beast. Those gaddamn motherfucking FRENCH. I knew it! First it's flu vaccine and then they become the arm of the antichrist. Anyway, it's pretty funny that this new "Christian Nation" will be waiting for the end of the world to play itself out. The impending end is all the more reason to create this country quickly because it will make Jesus happy. That's what they say. Also, did you know Jesus' name isn't Jesus?!??!? That's right you ignorant sinners. His real name is Yeshua. Although some call him Joshua. I call him The Savior Formerly Known as Jesus just because it's just easier to remember. Another thing about this site that I find interesting is that they show that picture on the front page of the two happy lesbians after they get married. It is so strange to me that a photo that makes me smile because I love seeing two people so happy has such an opposite reaction for this group. _____________________

On behalf of the normal, sane members of my State...I apologize. To those that this everyone in S.C. are like those articles, go chomp a sausage. I grew up in Southeast NC. I know how you inferior South Carolinians are. Good lord, just look at Myrtle Beach. Whenever they wanted to pass some ordinance in my beach town they would always use the argument, "You don't want this to turn into another Myrtle Beach do you?" The only thing SC is good for is buying fireworks. ![]() _____________________

Sure...no one could ever rag on D.C., huh? At least my mayor didn't smoke crack with his hooker. And we have not one national politicial or special interest group here. And we have a great reply to peeps like you..."If ya don't like our little seaside town (I live in Myrtle Beach, BTW), then stay the Fu*k under whatever rock you call home." Seems the est. 2 million tourist that do visit here annually have no problem wir amenities...Soooooo here's your sausage, Kneehigh.

I'm just temporarily in DC. (for the past 10 years) I take no responsibility for this town at all. Especially the Redskins!
I'm moving back to NC in about a week and a half. You know the good Carolina. Hey didn't I hear that Myrtle Beach got a new town slogan? Something like "Myrtle Beach, where even your sister tastes better!" Congrats on that. I always thought MB would be a lot nicer if you added just a few more of those giant t-shirt shops and added a little more neon. ![]() Do they still have that law where liquor in restaurants has to be poured from those little airplane bottles so it is all regulated? _____________________

Your delicious satire always makes me laugh, Neehai.
Oh, and Yeshua/Joshua is the hebrew form of Jesus. I think Jesus is either Greek or Latin. Anyway, God has lots of other names in the OT and NT, but you can distill them all down to one: IXOYE (often pronounced "Yah-weh" . Loosely translated, it means "I am."Finally, can you settle a running debate for us, once and for all? Which is it, Neehai? Boy or girl? I've seen you referred to both as "he" and "she" in these here forums. (I'm so tacky, I know...LOL) _____________________

Neehai Zapata: I'm just temporarily in DC. (for the past 10 years) I take no responsibility for this town at all. Especially the Redskins!
I'm moving back to NC in about a week and a half. You know the good Carolina. Hmm...oh yeah, there are absolutely no crappy places in N.C.....I cite the gigantic powerhouse cities like Hickory, Moravian Falls, Rockinham, Burgaw, and Whiteville...Not all of your old (and future) state is within the research triangle....just the fruitcakes...Wait, was it Wake or UNC that required college Freshmen to read the Koran prior to enrollment (http://www.trincoll.edu/depts/csrpl/RINVol5No3/koran%20unc.htm)? Yet, you decry any reference to any other religion being mentioned in schools... Hey didn't I hear that Myrtle Beach got a new town slogan? Something like "Myrtle Beach, where even your sister tastes better!" Congrats on that. Sure, but at least our kids can go to daycare for daycare...not luvin' (http://www.nbc17.com/news/3965912/detail.html). And of note, Santa Claus only rapes kids in N.C. (http://www.kwwl.com/Global/story.asp?S=2668740)..oh, and good luck with that OxyContin thing, I hear it makes for great parenting (http://www.charlotte.com/mld/observer/news/local/10373289.htm?1c) I always thought MB would be a lot nicer if you added just a few more of those giant t-shirt shops and added a little more neon. ![]() I'm guessing you never leave the triangle...try looking at Sunset Beach, Calabash, and Wilmington...they share the same amount of class, yet no one cares that they are there... Do they still have that law where liquor in restaurants has to be poured from those little airplane bottles so it is all regulated? Hey laugh if you want, a minibottle is 1.75 ounces of liquor..a free pour drink is typically an ounce...I like paying the same for almost twice as much booze in my drinks. I can understand if the tea-todeler in you might have a problem with this. But....N.C. does have the Panthers (injury prone this year, but whutcanya do eh?), So I guess the State is not all that bad. _____________________
