Easy question :) Garth and Pits Isalnds are some of my very favorites, each one different yet a nice place to just sit and watch the sunset from many different locations. I tend to sneak in when its empty :D

what are yours and why?

How can I not mention Gypsy Moon and Dragon Moon...Sanctum Sanctorium. All very beautiful natural builds.

Fairchang, Spitoonie, Gypsy Moon, Krittania.
No specific reasons, I just like them.
Oh, and I miss Cape Destiny dearly. :o

i also love what the Fairchang Project is all about -- the recent touchstone fair is such a wonderful example (and not just cause i was involved). Actually, that entire landmass of FC/montmarte/etc is great.

Taco

I also dig the build at Atlantis

Midnight City (when it arrives :) )

i need to explore more of them

I don't get out much - its not uncommon for me to go for months without leaving my parcel.

But last night, I took a ride out to the Elven sim.

Most incredible - and very well done :)

Port Kar is wonderful..as are many others. I had a great time shopping at Fairytale Island the other night.

Soon..my favorite will be Vida de Sol, when it stops being such a huge amount of work and we finish the builds there. But it will be the new home for Perilous Pleasures, complete with club, library, shopping mall, apartments, several event areas, park areas with wandering paths and semi-secluded spots, and lord knows what else...

Spittoonie is my favorite - I have also always been fond of Le Cadre.

Telador Isle.

I'm still D'ni at heart even if Uru is no more.

And Numbakulla of course, beautiful and challenging.

This thread devolved into a giant advertisement for all those who own islands! :D

Have we no shame?

I like Rue d'Alliez. Lots of the builds I liked aren't around any more such as Richard Stern's Maxim District.

Parrot Island -- just kidding!

No, seriously, I really love Sanctum Sanctorum. It is so well done, especially the jungle parts.

There are many others that I admire--too many to list.

Atlantis is excellent. I love the wave logo that they use for the signs and the light effects are cool.

I hope more people post here I'm always looking for places to visit since they did away with the top picks.
