In this Second Life Forum Era (SLFE) of constant analysis, kudos, dissection, criticism, defending of SL status, climbs to the top, decents to the depths and sharing of good and bad times - we must take stock of the WAY - aka. Who Are You?

Let this be a Who Who's of the WAY - a listing of people noticed and unnoticed, great and small, recognized and unknown - but members all of this ongoing world of ours aka Second Life.

I'm a dude with blue spiky hair and a Mr. Bungle tee, usually with a (bottomless) Elbow Room Pale Ale in hand, who wanders from place to place meeting new people and returning to any places I make friends in. I like to wander around and just talk to people I see by themselves on the mini-map.

I'm half of GOM. The half that send out your cash withdrawals and tries to keep everybody happy.

I spend my spare time wishing I had the energy to do the things I said I'd do when I had some spare time.

I also do some work on the GOM codebase and plan upgrades and new features. New features which will *rock* once we get them up and running (see above note ).

Seems people know me that I do not know... seems people have judged and talked about me in both good and bad ways without ever meeting me...

I'm an idea man with no skill or time to actually implement them as I would like.

Creative - Examples include: Erogenous Zone Magazine, Tir Na Nog, Burning Life, Winter Festival, SL Performing Arts Center (coming soon)

Community Oriented - Perilous Pleasures (non-profit, educational, fun, free)

Lazy - Spend alot of times these days avoiding work in SL.

Easygoing - I get along with most folks, and simply ignore/avoid those I don't like or respect.

I've never done anything world-shaking to improve SL, nor have I ever done anything to harm it. I love the creative aspects, but don't care for the money-grabbing side of things.

Love to build (though texturing is stressful), meet new folks, help as I can and appreciate humor in most of it's forms.

my name is bette, also known as reddish tigereye. i started here in november of 1993. i've belonged to many virtual worlds before this one, but i'm glad i found my way here. (i've quit all the others as i never really felt comfortable in them for various reasons)

very few people know me, i am quite antisocial. i have a beautiful piece of land that spans aqua, blue and grey. it's called 'the commune'.

i guess the only thing i am known for here is SPENDING!! i love shopping, and i spend tons of money on this game!!

when i first started, i was very upset because i couldn't put as many 'objects' on the land i bought, i cried on loki's shoulder and spoke of leaving SL because it was going to cost so much to play (for ME, i'm sure others can enjoy it here without spending a ton, we all have different wants and needs here). after a night of pondering, i decided to just spend the money and play it as i wanted to, ea with lots of real world cash. since deciding that, i have come to love this game, love the freedom of it and all the beauty within it. every day here there are new and wonderful things to see and buy!!!

so ... as my profile says, "boring, antisocial recluse", that IS basically what i am, but i am good for this game because i boost the economy, even though you may never have heard of me, i AM here, spending, spending, spending. (and enjoying my little piece of solitude)
