Why is my first name not capitalized on the forum? I can't for the life of me find any settings in the CP to fix that. Thanks.

OK Well the explanation may be this:

I have collected a lot of keys from in world, and some of the names that come back don't start with a capital letter. So I think it's when you sign up, however you actually type your name, will be how it shows up in world and in the forums.

So a word to any people thinking of joining SL, use capitals if you want them, changing your name is v. hard if not impossible

Yes, I have an alt that I screwed up the capitalization on. I asked the Lindens to fix it and the answer was no.

I do seem to recall though that some new accounts in the forums lately are created with strange casing - I have seen all lower case names, including last name. If your name appears normal in world, then it is a forum issue and it may or may not be correctible - if it is wrong in world too, then you cannot change it, as others have said.

Actually, there are some cases in SL where names *are* case sensitive.. ask any scripter..

And no, you can't get it changed.
