Ok, seriously. I'm going to start counting the amount of places in the search tool that have the word "CLUB" in it. This will hopefully assist the oversaturated, cube-filled market in imploding upon itself.
Current amount of clubs in-world: ONE HUNDRED AND THREE
That's a club for every 4.5 sims in-world.
That's a club for every 165 people that play second life.
Is it a saturated market yet? God, I hope so.

Yes, I've been saying since 1.3 or so that there were too many clubs THEN, and it was going to get worse.
Now look at it. JUST LOOK AT IT >_0
I told you. I toooolllldddd youuuuu.

Well, do you know how many PUBs I have in my town?
SL is a social game and clubs are social way to gather with music. I think their popularity makes a lot of sense ..

I agree. There should only be one club in sl. Come hear DJ Ulalla at The Punany Club Tonight!

publish a poll asking us whether we attend club or not. better yet, offer a few choices such as never, once a month, once a week, daily et cetera. then extrpolate those percentages to the player base and see how many clubs there are per group.
then we can tell you if the market seems saturated or not.

Make that 2, Schwanson...
We need at least one club where you can both dance to the music AND make the music. Tribal Drums fits that bill.

I think there are too many houses in SL!
Truly, I don't understand the problem. Isn't this a big part of what a metaverse is supposed to be?
I relate a club ~= irc channel but with avatars and music.

I relate a club ~= irc channel but with avatars and music. dya know i asked a few people when i was first wandering around why so many people built realistic houses with non-phantom roofs and useless kitchens. the answer i was consistently given was that most people didn't own a house in real life, or just owned a small one, and so they wanted to build their dream house here. does the same answer apply to clubs? do people club here because they don't have clubs in their towns or, for some reason, can't frequent them in real life?

Cartel members need to represent in this poll. You are some of the most serious club dwelling parties around. Crazy Feckers!

From: Khamon Fate i asked a few people when i was first wandering around why so many people built realistic houses with non-phantom roofs and useless kitchens I still don't know why people insist on walls and ceilings in Second Life. There are no elements from which we need protection, and they offer absolutely NO privacy. All they do is hinder movement and block camera views. See the pic below of my home in Hooper. One can give the illusion of an enclosed structure without actually enclosing it. - Ace

It never really occured to me to go to a club until Schwanson opened his. And I always end up staying longer than I planned to because I'm actually enjoying myself. Plus it's open bar.

I'd be fine with maybe... MAYBE three clubs in SL. Seriously, what do you people DO at clubs? Click a button, then watch your av dance the same dance you've danced a thousand times before!? I went in one once, to see what the fuss was all about, and someone ACTUALLY COMPLEMENTED SOMEONE ELSES DANCING. It was the SAME damned dance I saw someone else on the other side of the club doing. What the HELL is the deal?

I answered Once A Month, but only because "Only when there's something happening with your friends at a club" wasn't listed. I go to clubs to support friends and other Cartel members, not for the clubs themselves. Most of the clubs are exactly the same. They play music I don't like. (Yay, more techno ) People don't even talk while they're there. Just really pointless to me. From: Darko Cellardoor Cartel members need to represent in this poll. All they do is hinder movement and block camera views. We also have no genitals to cover with clothing, and we won't catch cold if we go out without clothes.

What the HELL is the deal? Dude at a Cartel party, usually at a Club, we party PERIOD! The text moves across the screen so fast it is difficult to see. We have sex w animals and engage in all kinds of perversions. We get high and drunk and enjoy each others company until the early hours of the morning. In fact I party hard in real life as well and their have been online parties that have rivel the real life party experience. It is sad you know no such pleasures! CHOLOS POR VIDA! Party on fuckers!

I go to clubs daily. Often it's to chill, idle, socialize -- win from money balls, muhahaha... a variety of things. But yes, I am a big clubber in SL. LOL "It is sad you know no such pleasures!" -DarkoSounds revolutionary to me. Put THAT on the front page of SecondLife.com . Along with all the pics of... er... said pleasures.

I dont think we have enough clubs. Every sim should have their own club, and perhaps maybe two or three.

I'm almost a club zombie but only at one club in particular all my friends are there and we have fun. I won't stay someplace all the avvies are doing the same dance and no one talks they are just there for the money ball. Those kind of clubs are soul sucking and lifeless
