Live Strong SL Kick Off

I have decided to kick off Live Strong in Second Life. If You are not familiar with the Lance Armstrong Foundation please go to www.laf.org.
I will be selling the Live Strong yellow arm bands in world at almost 20 vendor locations. They have several of them in every vendor and are priced for your budget so if you want to contribute 100L then buy the 100L one and so fourth. Every penny raised from this (this is being tracked via giga's vending system) Will donated to www.laf.org

Johnny, thats the first i have seen of your thread! This system does pay directly to the charity, sadly there is some foot work involved but it is all tracked via the web and the vendors are all controled via the web(its the gigas system). The only reason i chose to do this was my grandmother passed away in 2003 from cancer she survived 5 diff cancers to include kidney cancer and brain cancer each time she was diagnosed with cancer it was a new place and a new strain (not a new strain to the world but a type she never had before) she had gone through countless surgerys and countless chemo thearapy treatments and the final cancer that ended up taking her was the one in which was "caused from smokeing". She was a very tough woman and was not afraid of what was happening to her she used to make jokes that the only time she won at the casino was when she had cancer(oddly after almost every treatment she would talk my mother into takeing her to the casino and they would play.. and she would win decent amounts..but when she would be over one cancer and cancer free she would loose.)..sorry got off of the topic. She is the fuel that makes me run in RL and the reason for this campaign.

Billy - I went to the kiosk in Plush Shops Zuni 104,44 last night and never could find the arm band. Do you know which vending machine there has it? There were several. Let me know and I'll go by there tonight.

It will be a blue one kind like an open book looking ish.. and thats all that is in the stall.. those coords should take you right infront of them. If you are still having issues just go to the sim jaffee.. there is no other vendors but that one.. and it will be in the corner of the sim in my office.
