We need A floating highway!

I think a new land area could be made to be an on and off road racing course.

Olive is the vehicle playground because there, people don't have to worry QUITE so much about crashing the sim. That sim goes down so much, that a bunch of people driving around motorcycles and buggies doesn't matter. Sure, people may be using the sandbox for experiments and such, but most of us using vehicles are trying to figure out ways to make them better, (at least, that's why i am there). Also, it's one of the few places we can put up ramps and such, and not worry about tearing them back down once we're done. I'm working on an airplane using the Linden Vehicle LSL flags and parameters, and i'm making a few breakthroughs as far as that goes. I would probably mostly fly that vehicle throughout olive though, because it's the funnest place to do it.

Upon reading this thread, visions of SL turning into Los Angeles keep popping into my head. Does anyone really want that? Or perhaps we could go all out and create a Gilliam insprired, Brazil-esque superhighway completely flanked with billboards.

I propose instead a Big-Dig style subterranian motorway and will begin voraciously soliciting donations to support it .
