Hey there!  Well, I finally got my computer all back up and running again. I thought I was fine a couple of days ago, but turns out my hard drive was dying and it wasn't just a reformat type deal. So I was up, then down, but now I'm up again! Yay!! I was able to sneak into SL on my hubby's re-built computer night before last (not normally able to thanks to his duel monitor set-up thingy), but looking forward to being able to get in world on a normal basis again!  I haven't had time to read the forums from work either because I've actually been having to work. Yuck! hehe.. I've logged in a bit from there but only for a few minutes so I'm way far behind. Any threads in particular that I should look for that I were good over the last couple of weeks? Anything major happen in world that I have missed? Happy Birthday and Anniversary to any who have had one over the last couple of weeks. Hope you had wonderful days! Talk to you all soon and so happy to be back!! *HUGS*

Cory Linden proposed a complete redoing of the permission system that would have resulted in the theft of every decent avatar, vehicle, prim-based plant, and other such detailed works. After five days of smacking him around, he altered the proposal to one more closely resembling that which we've been asking for, though he did say that he was still quite convinced that a forced-open-source environment would not be detrimental to the growth of SL.
Then Angel Leviathan spammed someone's source code onto the forums. It's been approximately 15 hours or so since that happened, and was a perfect example of how forced-open-source was bad.
Then we had a bunch of spam related to club exploitation. Apparently Club dElite just had a large majority of their prostitu... I mean dancers walk out on them.
Not much else that I can remember though. Usual drama as always.

You seemed to have some good ideas that seemed more in line with what I had thought made sense for the future.
