Positive Posts Towards LL ONLY!!

Hi everyone I'm back from a much needed 7 day vacation Ironically enough I come back to find the world down and the forums full of Trolls hell bent on trying cut LL to Shreds.

First off I want to thank Linden Lab for all they have done the past year stumbling and all. Lately I have been posting with a bitter vehemence against stupidity and I do still believe stupid people should wear signs. Unfortunately in SL they have the option not to wear em so we are back to square one.

So This particular thread is dedicated to Linden Labs for all the hell you go through this thread is for you and Thank you for all of your hard work even though it seems thankless sometimes.

Please if you dont have anything positive to say go to the other thread I am going to start to respond as I would graciously like this to be an opportunity for people to express their gratitude without being berated for it.

I feel really sorry for the Lindens for being up at 6.00 fixing servers. Rather them than me.

If it makes you feel any better guys, I've been in your shoes many, many times during the last twenty years.

It is a thankless job, but someone has to do it!

I would like to thank LL for the vision, and dedication to implement such a crazy, exciting, creative, entertaining, and yes even frustrating at times, world. I have been very impressed overall with the direction SL has taken since I joined in April. I look forward to future developments, and can't wait to see what LL has in store for us next. I realize a lot of people were frustrated with the down time. Hardware failures do happen, back up resources/procedures have problems at times too. This is a part of life, and we just have to accept the fact that LL did the best that they could with all of the problems tossed at them. I know some would have liked more status messages, but honestly, I would much rather have them dedicating their time to fixing the problem, than updating us every 15 minutes. Kudos to LL for working on bettering the system, and looking at ways to prevent this in the future.

Lindens Rock. I got in first try this morning, and in world they put up with my stupid questions. Lee Linden is cute, Jill Linden is incredibly useful when sims crash, and Nova Linden saved me from a bunch of Banana phones on Christmas Eve. They're smart and dedicated and who knows why they don't tell us all to go jump in a lake.

Thank you all Lindens for getting SL up and running again, as well as putting up with all of us.


Hope your New Year's Holiday isn't shot.

SL is building toward what i've wanted -- a completely interactive 3d virtual world -- ever since i started MUDding well over a decade ago.

Despite sniping and griping, rants and can'ts...we are all here because WE LOVE SL and without the Lindens there would be no SL! Thanks *hugs*

I've also been in your shoes quite a few times LL. You're doin great . pay no attention to my evil twin who may occassionally make snide remarks. I shall beat him soundly about the head with a rubber hose next time he surfaces. SL rocks, I only wish I'd thought of it first . Well actually i wish I were capable of putting something like SL together.

I too am back from a lovely, much needed vacation with family.

I am NOW truly back though somewhere I love and missed horribly...

Everywhere worth being has problems, growing pains, etc...

YAY for all the folks att LL who do try their darndest to make things go as smoothly as possible... Without them, why we would have "virtually" nothing to moan about anyway...
