So you're saying the Meditteranien Diet thing is a marketing myth? They're certainly convincing. I suppose that's the idea. Is it that you think the actual 'diet' doesn't *work* (fresh fish, veg and olive oil, as the ads say.. heh) or that it doesn't *happen*? Though if it makes you a randy 90 year old like on them ads, I'm not sure it's such a good thing anyway  |

Though if it makes you a randy 90 year old like on them ads, I'm not sure it's such a good thing anyway Well, a small SUBSET of mediterranean people MIGHT have eaten like that... back in the MIDDLE AGES Even so... people who had easy access to fish usually did not have easy access to olive oil... given that olive trees around here are usually grown on the drier, inner parts of the country. Our traditional food does include one heck of a lot of olive oil, but it also includes a lot of lard. Most of our typical food is based on pork, lard and salt... our average chorizo has 50% fat, some of our most famous cheeses have up to 80% fat, geez, how can that be healthy? I really dont know where they got this stereotypical mediterranean diet. Maybe its more common in greece or something... *shrug* |

Other than for mild entertainment value (and to bash evil fast food corporations like McDonalds for selling BuRgErS OF DeAtH), what's the point of that movie? Is there a point I'm missing...? WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!
