Have you checked out the Tetris like game by Don Linden at the Waterhead telehub? My friend, Angela and I have become addicted to the cool, visual and sound effects and we have been alternating on a daily basis as champions. Today (at least until she beats me probably tomorrow) I am the current title holder at 36,490 points in Level 11. Do you have what it takes to be the next champ?

Heh, I used to watch Huns play Prim Attack. Every now and then, he'd go "WUT?" and go back to his game. Dedicated chap he is.

You'd think that with my passion for games I'd have played Prim Attack yet. I'm going to have to hook up with someone and try a game... I watched a game being played when I first joined Second Life, but was too distracted to sit and figure it out.

I saw Angela playing this in Waterhead, I believe. Yes, persistence Angela -- yayzerama to that! Wow! Hey, wouldn't that be something if there was a Prim Attack table that had a memory -- i.e. kept record of the Top 10 scores? Wouldn't that be something now? Mmmmmm...

Angela beats her own record!

Not satisfied until she finds out if the scorekeeper will go over 100,000, Angela Weber goes at it again.

Yep, about 5 hours...

Well, if Angela doesn't keep her wits up, she'll be beat soon... nipping at her heels here! And yes, it took about five hours to achieve this.

Hmm, maybe I should talk to Ryan about re-visiting the score-board idea. Looks like some competition might boost its fun factor a bit ^_~.

If you do have a go at improving Prim Attack, have you considered using several seperate scripts to check each row and column individually, and in parallel rather than in series? I've been wanting to make my own to try and improve upon your design, but as you know, it takes some effort.

From: Don Linden Hmm, maybe I should talk to Ryan about re-visiting the score-board idea. Looks like some competition might boost its fun factor a bit ^_~. Another thing that would help a LOT would be if it were not so... slow. It's slow... it's really slow... it's painfully slow... like stab yourself in the eye and twist painful. For example, the green bars going down the rows and collumns are pretty and all, but if removing them would speed things up, then I'm all for it. Nobody can really understand why it does that anyway. Just my purrsonal opinion, but things that I think would honestly improve it (Some may be possible, some may not, and some may be possible, but not a good thing to do): Have an instruction card info thingy next to it. So many folks don't know how it works. Send a quick message to folks who try to play "on top" of another person that it is a one-player game and somebody else is currently playing. This will help reduce frustration for a lot of newbies. Eject people who sit on the prims. Or even just make it impossible to get on the board. Either or. It makes play much more difficult when somebody is sitting on the board. The first two are the most important, IMHO, and the last one is just a "would be nice".

Some people have too much time on there hands. It would be awsome to have that killer game placed in other areas other then the welcome area too though.

From: DebbieAnn Fairplay How do you play the game... and does anyone have a landmark for its location. I'm slow It is at the very start of the Welcome Area in Ahern (The place where you first start after Basic Training.) The game is a very simple "Thinking" or "puzzle" game. There are different kinds of Prims on the board, and you must select two prims that are directly next to each other (Horizontal or vertical) to "swap" their position. This swap should create a row or collumn of three or more of the same kind of prim in a row. If it DOES create a set of three or more, then any sets created will vanish from the board, all the prims above them will drop down to fill the empty space, and new prims will come in randomly at the top to fill the board back up. It will then check to see if there are any new lines of three or more, and if so, will remove those, and drop and fill, until there are no new groups, then you swap another two prims. If the swap does not create a grouping of three or more, then the prims will swap back, and it was an "invalid move". If you are not able to create any rows or collumns of three or more with any swaps, then the game is over (The game does not detect this itself, you just have to have the guts to decide you lost.) Top swap prims, first click on a prim. It will spin and the square it is in will turn green. Then click on an adjacent prim, and they will swap. The board will then "scan" across, count any groupings, and go from there. Chains (Getting more groupings after the new prims fall) are worth a lot more points. Multi-groupings (Getting more than one grouping) are also worth a lot more points, and obviously groups of more than three (Four or Five, or heaven forbid: six! (Yes, that's possible)) are worth more points as well. If you have a chain, you will hear a chirp-ding for each extra grouping you get. The objective is to make sure that you never run out of moves. After a certain time, you will fill up the level bar on the right, and go on to the next level. This increases the point value of groups, but also completely resets the board for a new set of prims. If anybody needs more precise information or anything, let me know. That's just "Off the top of my head".

There are two tables in between the two main buildings of the Luna Mall too.
