I'm an uninteresting 25 year old (well monday is my birthday) .. It's odd because I really haven't given much thought to anyone's age on SL.
If Lindenworld had an age guessing game setup I'd totally lose. hehe

From: someone It's odd because I really haven't given much thought to anyone's age on SL. I really don't think about it much either... Except for people about whom I have heard otherwise, I basically assume they look just like and are the same age as whichever avatar they use most (excluding robots, etc). Its wierd to think of it otherwise... Here I might have to add a few words of apology to people with old or ugly avs... though it would be innappropriate to name any names of whos avs I find ugly... *looks desperately for a way out of the conversation* |

I had an interesting little conversation with a friend of a friend.. She said she feels different talking to me ingame because my av is older looking then hers, and our mutual friend's av is younger looking. In real life however, it's the opposite, I'm younger than her, and our friend is older. My perception of ages is different, I always assume everyone's older than me, and usually right.  When I started on MUSHes I was 14, and couldn't wait to get into college and be the same age as others online. Then now after graduation it sinks in that they all grew up too and I'm still a young one. |

I made her because SL sometimes seems to pretty.

All I have to say is that I did a very happy dance the day I discovered XXXXX and XXXXX are both older than I - before that, I had felt a bit like one of those housewives who went back to college in the 1960's... surrounded by people who must be wondering why someone as old as I am was there!
Oops, sorry, shouldn't have put in the names.... they're gone! They were only up a second, hope no one saw that!
