Any of you been "sent home" due to freak accidents, poor judgement, or unexpected weirdness?

I got myself killed in in the volcano (the G apostrophie one). Not from hitting the lava. I had a jetpack on, was flying at a high speed, and flew into the wall.

Let's see, hubby built an 850m tower. He told me to climb to the top to see if it was do-able, so I did. He flew up with his jet pack and pushed me off the tower. I fell, on unprotected Linden Land.

He laughed evil coursing through his dark heart, wondering if this could work in RL too.

Harold Nomad had a scripted T-Rex or raptor on his land once. It growled, and told me to keep my distance when I got too close. Thinking to myself, 'Aww how cute' I moved closer to examine it. Wrong move, sigh.

Early on, one day Umber was set to a be a damage-enabled zone, and I smacked into Mistress and Torrid's store, straight into the big (not cardboard) images of themselves posing in the middle at a high velocity. Yeah, I died.

Once I was making a mad dash to buy an outfit I really really wanted before I had to log off. I was so focused on shopping, I didn't realize I was flying through Rausch and was immediately shot, killed and sent home. I didn't even know people still hung out in Rausch! Sheesh!

We set up a 'super trampoline' in Green when it first opened and took turns seeing how far across the sims it would propell us. I made it to 'Purple' I think, and landed directly in someones 16x16 damaged enabled plot.

Dragging myself around Green Fates place with an AV magnet....

Putting my nipple cannon a little too far inside my Avatar....

When I was new to SL, I bought land in Jessie. I did not know it was a warzone. Doh!

I finally asked a neighbor why everyone kept shooting me when would try to build. He told me and then shot me. I deserved it.

Dunno bout killed, but while writing a quick version of one of those evol scripts that sends everyone home and/or makes them relog, I cleverly reset it with an empty 'allow' list. Which was very effective in that once it tp'd me away, it wouldn't let me near it again to edit it

I have a system of cannons that shoot me to and from my house(too lazy to fly up and down) The area i live in has damage, and for some reason one day when i took the ACME cannon ride to the ground, it fired me so hard that i died on impact.

I have only died the once (so far) but it was pretty funny.
My neighbour, Mik, took me skydiving. We were catapaulted up high and began the dive. I suddenly decided it would be a good time to take a picture.
So there was me, trying to take a photograph, and not pulling the rip-cord.
And there is Mik, watching me and wondering why I am not puling the rip-cord.

Result? Both of us splat on the ground, dead.

We did try again, but this time I was so worried I pulled the cord really early, drifted for ages and ended up in a swimmming pool.

It was just one of those mornings, I guess.

Well, actually... see, when I was still a newb (what does 8 months count as?), I went to some ACME place I saw when I was exploring, and there was a guy there building it. He showed me around, at gave me a cigar, like from the Loony Toons, and after 15 seconds, I was blown into a wall.

Jessians.....damn jessians.....i do so love them...

I had some property in Jessie back in the day....my home was set to my property in Jessie. At that time Jessie was all kinds of assist H2H. There were turrents on tops of buildings and plenty of look outs at designated posts.

They padlocked me then pinged me to death. The weapons did kill which takes you back to your set home, i would be shot and then teleported back to exact same spot i was just at only to be shot again. Over n over.......wasnt so much bizarre as it was a big giggle to the jessians.

I was tryn like hell to some how move when on arrival of teleport but I was blitzkrieged. I couldnt even change my sign on preference of location to help me...because last location and home was same...

SNAFU.....yah one of my biggest

....then in the Cordova sandbox.....the potatoe minions...that would chase you and if you shot them...the would mulitply....that was actually freakishly scary in a cute kinda way.
