Sometimes one wonder what goes on in peoples minds.
I refreshed the land webpage and saw a small lot public land in Europa. I flew over and bought it.
The person then who had released it accused me of landscanning. I said i do not have a landscanner, to which she said whatever, landsscanner and poofed.
Since I hate beeing called a liar, I took a screenshot of the webpage and provided it to the person. Did she say, sorry I accused you for landscanning? No, now she was mad because I had claimed the land to fast, since she had released to much.
I offered to give her the part she wanted, but all I got was a whatever.
So i warn you people, if you see public land. Do not claim it to fast, and before claiming it make sure nobody else wanted it. If it has been realesed by mistake, or partly by mistake, offering it back will not help. In their eyes you are a very bad person still.

Well, this thread was not about women and their crankyness in general, neither an opinion about if women are more cranky in general. It was simply a statement based on my experices that day. It is like saying, I saw 3 white cats crossing the street today. That is not discriminating towards white cats, neither black cats. Just an observation.
Of course as usually people miss the meaning/message in a post and clang to some certian word and debate how policatlly correct it is. The idea whith this post was to bitch about people and the total lack of gratitude. Quite often have I picked up land that has been set for sale for 0 or close to that. I have IM the seller to ask if this really was the intension, and of course it has not been. Only in a very few occasion one have even gotten a thanks,even though one have saved them a loss on 2000 to 30000. Back when ratings was cheap, I think I once got a positive rating for giving the land back to the seller. So I have more and more started to understand those people who grab land while people are editing and from people who have by mistake put wrong price. Everyone hate them, but seems it do not make a difference if you try your very best to do the right thing either, so why bother.... I roughly estimated having made a 300000L$ loss by trying to be nice, so we are not talking about one weeks stipend money. |

Well, honestly I do not care if someone has some nude pics of my avatar, that would mean my avatar has been naked at some point. Beeing called a liar is what I am uspset about. It is not either about this particular case but the general atmosphere. Maybe problem is in upbringing, spoiled brats, I do not know. People often seems to forget that behind each avatar is a real person.
To Palomma, when I visited my gf IRL, she was a female though. |
